The situation is really dumb and I hate how people use it as a scapegoat to hate on Thor because he is popular. I hate the online hivemind so much.

Thor is human, he makes mistakes. he isn't flawless.

Everyone in that event made mistakes, but thor took the bront of it because he is popular and a face to blame. The calls were borked, the situation was borked, and it was a general mess.

The fact that he doubled down on his choice doesn't even bother me because again, he is human, and everyone has a ego.

But what sets me off is that people use this as an excuse to call thor a names or hate on him for his interactions, like those have nothing to do with the situation. And why the hell would people say they feel uncomfortable to play with him? You can't even see him irl, and you never need to join his party even if you are in the same guild.

It's so stupid that he messes up this one time, and people hook onto it to hate on him. They all just instantly forget all the good will he has garnered, and the worst part is that Thor isn't the only person that this happens to.
