GameMaker and the games made in it will run on potatoes. If it can run a modern version of Windows it can run GM.
With Godot it heavily depends on the kind of game you're making and how graphically intense they are. If you intend to work on 3D at all I would definitely recommend getting something with a dedicated GPU and a bit more RAM than the standard 8 gigs, but beyond that there's not much you need in terms of it being high-spec or whatever.

The way I see it, unless they, with they being Actual Pirates, don't put a limit on alliances, everyone is going to rally around them and server events are going to go uncontested

It happened in New World, it'll happen in AoC

Dominating guilds ruined several servers

When you have a guild size of 50 trying to move resources between cities, and a guild size of 300 swoops in to steal, it won't even be a remotely close fight

Unless the rest of the server bands together it won't be fun, but depending on his guild size, Actual Pirates could be the rest of the server

I'm not on the server, but I doubt any other entity on that server already has six sub guilds

from what I remember, Thor plans for in-fighting within the overarching guild in order to prevent the guild from becoming too monolithic

two massive blobs of guilds and a bunch of stragglers

sometimes just one massive blob of a guild

also like to be clear, Thor is not going to be the biggest streamer when the game actually launches

some of the usual suspects are absolutely going to play and have massive followings, as well as streamer groups who play together and have all of their viewers together as well
