Yea, put your software on a flash drive and you can lock down the system before networking it and you should be able to prevent Microsoft from messing with it too much. I use SimpleWall for network filtering and it’s a huge help in blocking Microsoft servers.

What I have heard about Windows 11 vs Windows 10 are that some of the Intel E cores don't work as intened on Win 10. Not sure if thats true or not? And for me it won't have any effect as I use an AMD CPU as of now and have plans to do it in my next PC, but I wanna test Win 11 on my next pc, if I don't like that I will go back to Win 10, even if it will be an un activaded copy of it

I mean I remember some games being $30 and then 40 and then of course 50 being the standard for the longest time but yeah I do kind of miss those days especially real pre-order bonuses. That's actually how I got my first copy of assassin's Creed Black flag I just went in to buy a copy and the guy behind the camera was like hey we have a pre-order copy somebody didn't pick up and I paid for five bucks extra to get it and it came with all the DLC.

I had a similar encounter, got the steelbook of Black Flag with some goodies. The code is still connected to my Ubi account to I can still play it today, despite selling the steelbook a few years back. But yeah its why I like CDPR (despite Cyberpunk launch issues). Yeah all the assassin's Creed pre-bone and stuff that I've gotten over the years from different games is still tied to my ubi account and I can access all of it on my Nintendo switch even though it was originally on my Wii u. I guess it's a matter of preference, but AC never really grabbed me and I've never been an FPS guy. The only franchise they own that I'm interested in is the Might and Magic franchise, and they've screwed that up ever since HoMM VI, and we'll likely never see another Might and Magic in the vein of 6, 7 and 8.

The last AC game i actually played was AC: Black Flag, and than the Franchise was kind of in a direction where i could say "I am not the audience anymore". Which is fine. Tried Odyssey for a bit, but it felt more like a fancy screenshot simulator.
