I made an entire story based entry into a server before. You would go through the story as an adventurer and pick up your roles along the way, and depending on what you picked also catered the content you would get, took me 2 weeks at a couple hours a day to make.

Bots dont know how to read a "pic your own adventure" well, and were not able get in, only time i had bots in my server was from someone clicking on things they shouldnt have.

I had to scrap it when mee6 went full paywall on premium features.

The Onboarding feature of Discord really makes it more simplified. Sadly it isn't compatible with 3rd party verification process that some servers like to do.

You know, the ones that ask you to click "Verify" button underneath a bot message in an entry channel.

One other wild thing about Twitch - I use AdBlock on majority of websites. But with Twitch, I have it disabled sitewide. That's right, I have AdBlock paused on the entire site of Twitch. Not just some channels, entire site. I rarely ever get ads there.

With this in mind, the FerretSoftware channel can fund the entire rescue just from ads. Given how rare the ads are on Twitch, that's crazy!

Self cheesing bread

• Flour - 2 cups = 240g normal or 260g whole
• Dry yeast - 2 packs?? = 14g
• American "cheese" - 230g
• Actual cheese swiss (block, not slices) - 8 ounce = 226g
• Beer - 12 fluid ounce = 355ml
• hot water - half cup = 120g/ml
• butter - 20.5g
• sugar - 6 tea spoons = 25g
• salt - 5-7g? maybe

1. Mix flour in a big bowl
2. Melt and mix in a pan a "cheese" "sos"
   American "Cheese" + Beer + hot water + butter + sugar + salt

• mix all the time

3. add yeast when melted, make sure not to boil at any point
   don't kill the yeast, you will go to jail

4. Mix the cheese monster into flour
   add a bit more flour, (30g) if it's too shaggy (google what that means)

5. Knead the dough until smooth
   you may have to ask more flour

6. butter the bowl, nest your dough and let it rise

7. flatten the dough

8. cut the cheese into cubes

9. Put into dough

10. make bread

11. bake

I can wholeheartedly recommend the logitech mxkeys for a travel keyboard. One of it's profiles is bound to my phone.

It is possible tho. You can absolutely connect a keyboard to your phone. Which is why I don't trust public USB charger ports, they can be modified that it includes a little device that emulates a keyboard, essentially rubber ducky.

I don't have a USB condom, so I'm not gonna charge my phone through one of those public USB charger ports anytime soon.

I do know that there wasn't a single proven evidence of one or more of those charger ports being modified in such way, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.

I'm seriously thinking of obtaining a USB condom tho. It can't be too expensive, right? It's just an adapter that terminates data bus and lets only power in.

The only downside is that fast charging is not gonna work, which is a tradeoff I'm willing to make to keep my phone secured.

Fun fact. Did you know that San Francisco has run a trolleybus that was made here in Czechia? It's been a repurposed Škoda 14Tr, rebranded to Škoda 14TrE (you can look it up), rebuilt to fit the US style. It has been in service since 2015 for like 5 years.

I'll save you 500 bits - he'll say to avoid them, or to use some kind of protection. In the past, you could just use a "charge only" cable (which didn't have the data lines connected) but you'd be stuck with slow charging - they won't be able to do the power negotiation handshaking

The wise monkey uses the public USB charging to charge their external battery pack, and charges their phone from the pack 🙂

The issue is I also want to use a cable to transfer data when I connect to PC, and it's fairly easy to confuse the two cables. But it's pretty robust against confusing a simple device that you can put between a charging port and the cable with something else (which is the USB condom). But hey, I pretty much always carry my portable battery pack for portable charging, so there's that.
