ADHD is very different from just being easily distracted. It's a chemical imbalance in your brain that impairs your brain's functions.

You can't correctly diagnose ADHD without a doctor.

For instance, when I tried it, it just gave me unbearable anxiety. It solved my ADHD, but it was hell with anxiety.

Let me sum up this messy show: Palworld is a game about catching or killing special creatures and using them as slaves to evolve in the game. It has a lot of survival mechanics. Pokemon is about catching special creatures and making them your companion. Then you travel accross the world and catch more pokemons by fighting them with your own. You may meet other "trainers" and have a pokemon fight with them.

that or you need to really understand what people who like that genre/type of game your making and make sure you market to them (sometimes a smaller market segment can be a good hit as you can hit a large part of that small segment with a good game due to lack of games targeting that segment)

There is the possibility, however, they're not only stealing from Nintendo products. They apparently also have a very sketchy Shovel Knight rip-off. It still doesn't sit right with me, given their apparent relationship to lazily using AI on 'borrowed' work.

I'm not a fan of having AI do the work of human artists/graphic designers for things, but it appears I'm in the minority here, and within the industry as a whole. I don't like where it's going, but then we have responses like the above "I'm enjoying this game and that's what matters to me".

Seems to be the prevailing attitude of the player base whenever something ethical in the industry comes up and it's really off-putting to me.

I would still have concerns about AI being used, actually. I can see AI being used more and more to sharply cut costs and undervalue human artists, both in their talents and their pay grade. I can definitely see cheap companies, even and especially AAA ones, keeping an artist skeleton crew just to feed data to AI that will crappily cut/paste assets together for a company's profits. It'll put a lot of human digital artists at risk of losing livelihoods if we continue accepting it.

I have a problem with both the egregious asset-flipping/stolen art concept, and the concept of a company cutting corners and costs with AI instead of hiring out real artists to actually work on a project.

I'm not advocating for suing (even if they should), I'm advocating for us not supporting a game that barely tiptoes the line of an asset flip. We don't have solid evidence, which requires a scouring of the company's computers, so the use of ripped models from recent Pokemon games and comparing them to Palworld models and having them shown side by side and inside each other to show how near-perfectly matching they are is all we really got. Unless somebody's gonna hack into their servers and rip files off their server to prove it, or they gets sued and they have to provide evidence, it's the best we've got. You can float around saying "that's proof it's nothing alike", but it doesn't pass my personal smell test.
