I never used bits for tts, but i know that all the tts messages are not played immediately, but are instead put into queue. Thor pulls messages from the queue and they are vocalized on stream

Id have to say as an archivist translating is a common bias even when not meaning to and can be a game of telephone even in things like the Bible if you can’t read the original books and even your modern versions of the languages can bias our understanding of the meaning in the words. And example thought not 100% most of the books of the Bible in the us are the King James Version which is very missing in actual knowledge it’s a good start but misses a lot.

I don't think so, but I do. Unless I feel specifically silly, I choose my words carefully to the best of my abilities. It is quite difficult to do so though, since sometimes that requires to just sit down for 3 minutes and think how to phrase things.

Sometimes I accidentally skip that step, which can lead to a lot of misrepresentation of what I mean vs what I communicated. It's something I need to practice

I honestly like those, since they are a great source of learning how to communicate, but also to learn the perspective that other people have in some cases.

And the traumas can also change chemical structure! So I think he oversimplifies sometimes (and overcomplicates in other ways). But yeah, I think there's too many variables to state simply that "this doesn't really work" or vice versa. People are too varied and I especially didn't like it when he suggested that certain systems apply to all things when that simply isn't true even when you look at it from a very superficial level.

I should clarify that the struggle in communication for me is caused by neurodivergency in this case. Processing information takes a lot longer for me than say, the average person. My brain works very slowly, but also that means that in this time, I can further analyze certain aspects of the information that I received and was processed.
