When I applied at my current workplace, they gave me several questions to try and figure out my thought processes. Being nervous as heck cus it was a big company, I blundered, and thus, was the like the third option among the candidates. (There were 3 candidates for that role)

Thankfully, after the interview, I went and thought about the questions, then wrote a comprehensive testing plan and coded an automation program to solve the other problem (eg. How would you perform a task for a thousand times?). I sent a follow up email to the recruiter, and he forwarded it to the lead QA manager, who decided to give me a second interview round (he later told me that this was the first time in his 15 years that someone has sent a follow up)

On the second interview, I showed them my thought processes when writing the code and the test plan, and they decided to give me an offer letter a few days later

I'm not from the US, but to my knowledge, it would be helpful for getting a job in some of the bigger companies, but most times they are usually searching for someone who could think out of the box (like a player, or someone looking to exploit the game)

Command and Conquer (in particular Red Alert 2 / 3) is the one that springs to mind as closest. Different in many ways and really only 2 opposing forces rather than 3. But in terms of playable dynamics - there's a lot of similarities

But there's hundreds if not thousands of similar type games. Imho SC1 still sits as the king of all - as the balance of the game is just brilliant.

But yeh C&C Red Alert is really great if you're after a high point in playability for these type of games.

I don't really know much about more modern interpretations though

I had a similar issue on my pc. It occurred when my pc would switch from motherboard graphics to the installed graphics card. Fixed it by disabling the motherboard graphics card in device manager

So change the event to post it into discord first, then add to the queue, and then pause.

Its more likely that windows TDR was triggered by a power/load request from the GPU driver. If the request is delayed too long, it hangs and then dies. Probably worth just rolling back to the last version
