The stream avatar !sling command has a cap to its power (how far the avatar flies). If you put "random" for the angle, you could go past the power cap. So "!sling random 7777" would cause your avatar to shoot off into space. We reported it to Stream Avatar's dev a while ago, but it took a while to fix

- Random woman with an absurd artifact that acts like shes going to murder you (died immediately)
Just give me a damn character that is interested in the world.
Not these weird misfits that are more hassle than good.
They feel like broken meat shields to protect the MC.
Every encounter was -pass this check or fight to the death-
Characters and experiences do not need to be binary life or death all the time.
This isn't good storytelling and it doesn't lead to intrigue.

I've been playing BG3 as well, and I have not experienced most of what you have.
- The warlock for me, (I am one difficulty level below you) was managing to hit most of his spells and attacks.
- The wizard is really bad, I can't really excuse this.
- By "Random Woman" do you mean the Gith or the Human? And neither ever acted like they were going to kill me, so I am confused what you mean by that.
I can see what you mean by every counter being "Pass the check or fight to the death" However, you can in most encounters talk your way out without having to pass a skill check. The storytelling to me wasn't the worst, its better and more interesting than Remnant 2s, and if you talk to important people and ask them questions about whats going on, they will tell you a lot of things and unlock unique dialogue with other NPCs.

I played for a few months and i REALLY enjoyed the building system. But I don't think its worth playing right now. I feel like they were too far ahead of the tech curve and it ended up costing them a ton of money. I'll never forget flying my ship around with custom posters of my favorite bands on the wall. Well see you have to earn 3 fizzywhatsits to make 1 combodinkle which can be redeemed for 10 pro twinkledonks. Now it only takes 10,000 twinkledonks to make a penny that you can put into your fizzywhatsits to trigger a mass train depot call. This means that during the next scam train ran there will be multiple trains all collecting combodinkles. Only catch is each train has to pay the toll fee of 86.33% of the earnings.

As Thor said light is reflected as a flipped angle. And you see by light waves going into your eyes. That's how you can hurt your eyes by looking directly at the sun or high powered lasers.
- ΞΈ (Theta, the math symbol for the value of an angle.) is the same for the bouncing light.
- What you seen when you look at a wall is the flipped path from a light source.
- In theory if there was no light source, you couldn't see anything.
- In the egg & paper example, the light is bouncing off the egg towards the mirror. Then from the mirror, to you. Every time it hits something, the angle is flipped.
- And this is happening many many times over a room. So you can see an object from any side no matter where the light source is, even if it's just through a window.
Technically with curved objects like the egg, it gets more complemented. But the idea is the same.
Also the color of something is the object not bouncing that wavelength or at least not as much. So a "yellow" object is actually all colors' wavelength but "yellow". White and black being the pinnacle examples. White is bouncing all colors. Whereas black is bouncing nothing. Mirrors reflect the same exact wavelength, and take nothing away. They would be pure white if there was a direct light source on them.
And one of the main differences between white and a mirror is the diffusion value. Most things scatter the light slightly, contrary to a perfect mirror which doesn't.

So the reason the egg appears behind the mirror is because our brains think all light is coming directly from a light source. We can't comprehend that the light is bent. To our brains, the egg HAS to be straight ahead cause that's where the light is coming from. Light waves don't have a travel journal that records their voyage since they left a light source. That they would then hand off to the eyes.
This ends up meaning that we see a fake egg as if it was straight forward. This also applies to the paper edge. Thus making it look like a reversed world beyond the magic wall.

Canadian's are* always* paying our taxes. I paid my taxes this morning. I paid them this afternoon, and I'll pay them again tonight. Taxes are the life-blood of a society where you can get an MRI, either booked, or in an emergancy, without it costing the person a dime.
I will say though, that while our health care is far from perfect, I do wonder how many people in the USA die every year to an illness that they would have simply gone to a doctor years earlier and had it treated.

do you have data on how many people use hardware h264 encoders/decoders? i wonder if av1 requires more processing power than h264 if done without hardware support.
if the majority of people don't use hw h264 and av1 isn't that much more power hungry, then there's really nothing to talk about and av1 support should be added everywhere

Almost any GPU made in the last 20 years will have h264 hardware decoding (it was supported on nVidia GPUs since the GeForce 6 series and around the same time on ATI cards).
Encoding is a bit irrelevant since that only affects the streamer's side of things, but even then it's been well-supported on hardware for a long time.
There is nobody doing h264 in software, is my point.
AV1 software encoding is a nightmare, a second-long video took me like three minutes, don't even bother 
Decoding seems fast enough, but I'm not sure if that's something browser vendors would really want to ship. Since a software decoder would have to be implemented into the actual programs that people use to view the video

As to the AV1 talk, this is a future thing. Right now adoption is low but over time it will replace h.264 as the standard. It's lower bandwidth and absurdly higher quality.
It's literally the future of livestreaming codecs. Yet we're in it now.

Expressions in switch/case statements will generally prevent them from being converted into jump tables. So, yes, in languages that allow such a thing it won't always turn into one.
In Thor's case he just uses them with constant values so unless Igor is really dumb it should convert fine
