if u try to punish it the fast jab usually wins out

so you really gotta punish when i go into the stance

although it does miss out on a ton of damage yoshi can normally do so thats the trade off

also if i am in stance i would say ur best bet is to stay low and react to the overhead or the slow low kick

mind u if u fight against yoshi u will have to fight against 10 different ways. ive fought yoshis who play so different than me but thats my advice on dealing with heli
