well the delayed welcome role is for that, but the point of the temp welcome role is like my example above, where you want to give perms after a certain number of days

reliablility, dyno goes down a lot more, plus the convience of one bot. only reason i spent time adding that to my own bot is because dyno would miss removing roles. (i ended up with about 200 people that shouldn't have it still have the role)

some people don't really want the levels feature in general, as in they don't want activity to be such a competition and yeah, you could just disable the rank commands, and level up messages, but it still sends the dm when they first level up, and some admins find that annoying. so if a server is just using the levels plugin for the welcome role removal, having a dm to some people mgiht be annoying

#

now this is just my opinion on why it would be a good feature to some people, as opposed to just using the level rewards

MAKE A CUSTOM COOLDOWNS PLUGIN

For more of a community server you can setup a custom cooldown time for different role!!

Example:
Lv. 10=15 seconds cooldown
Lv. 20=10 seconds cooldown
Lv. 30=5 seconds cooldown

(but of course you can change the cooldowns to your own times)

Reaction roles but the when you react you get custom level for that reaction example: if you reacted to blue you would get light blue when you level and if you reacted to red you would get light red when you level up and so on. I think this would be a great. Please consider.

Hello All, I have a quick suggestion (sorry if it has already been mentioned) So in the "levels" plugin, maybe add the option "rank" as well/instead of "level" in the role rewards section? So that people can be gifted a role based on rank.

I've just basically seen two people be gifted 1 exclusive role because they both temporarily reached level 1 (basic 1st role for chatting)...I host a monthly event, so reaching level 10 is not always going to be managed either. But adding the option to switch it to a rank-based role reward could help?

and having to manually remove individual role rewards is a bit...well...annoying the bigger the server gets lol

when we put roles reactions premium, nearly 2 years ago, we got hundreds of people complaining about it here. I myself answered to it about 10 times/day. We seriously thought it would push people to abandon mee6 and/or mee6 premium
but well, we actually got more premium subs than what we had before, and mee6 is still the 2nd most used discord bot over the world, and now we don't have so much money issues than what we had 2 years ago

I have no idea if this has been suggested already, but can we make it so when MEE6 displays one of those "X has been warned for Y" or "X has been banned" messages it will autodelete them in say, 10 seconds?
There are many times when a raider joins and spams a bunch of copypastas and MEE6 takes a while to detect it and ban them so the chat ends up being flooded with a bunch of MEE6 warns and I have to delete them manually. At least the option for self purging would be nice

This would allow us to add repeated information to !commands and when someone needs the info and failes to read instructions or command list, we can just !help [user] and MEE6 would message that user the info.

I would like to suggest adding in so that people that generally spam the server will get warned, muted, etc. At the moment you just get the general warning if you do capital letters or duplicate text, not anything like if you generally spam. E.g. if you send hi over and over again in seperate messages, you get warned, message get's deleted, options like that. It would be super helpful if this existed.

**SERVER:-**This can be given to a person with a 24hr cooldown (Numbers don't matter) with a limit. This added bonus XP will not reflect in the Global XP
**GLOBAL:-**This is the 10% of the XP that a person gets by chatting in a server (Bonus not included)
For Eg:- I get 40 XP in my server and 80XP in another. Total Bonus is 100XP. So, only 4+8=12 XP gets added to my global. Global cannot be changed using any command

Add feature of creating embeds. ( Discord has great programmable function for creating embeds)

For Reaction Roles:
Add feature to change channel without making the new one.

Add feature for making reactions on specific message id. ( Easy to implement this one, because it's already in)

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

To reset levels, you need to have the Administrator perm (which grants you the ability to access the servers dashboard). The leaderboard can be found by doing !levels or https://mee6.xyz/leaderboard/SERVERID where SERVERID is the server's ID

This might have been suggested already but for Custom Commands > You can Send a message to a specific channel and you can Ban commands from being used in specific channels but there isn't a "This command can only be used in X channel". @haughty kernel what i did as a workaround was make a channel dedicated for the rank and level commands.

All the level up stuff gets posted to that channel and there's a pinned post with a Role Reaction for an Opt Out role they can grant themselves. It's proven to be effective on my server so all the spam is in one location.

So you know how you have a steam channel an you add all your favorite people to it. Then a few of them have poor connection issues so it spams their channel. Pretty much over anyone else going live an you have to delete a million dupe msgs. Just to see all the other streamers you also want to keep up to date on.

Then like its worse when it happens while your asleep. It be nice if you could add a cool down for going live msges per platform that you can customize. Like some people have to reset stream like after 3 to 5 hours to change games or what not. So it might be good to set the twich cooldown to like 3 and a half to 4hrs.

So any duplicate going live msges for any channel won't show up till that cool down is done. Meanwhile all the other going live msges won't be on a cooldown and can be posted.

Kinda like spam filter, but more simple cause it just works on cooldowns. Will only post any channel once within a given amount of time each.

Also a lot of times you might mod for these people. So if this is the chat you are using to keep up with those people you can't really just remove them...
