I can't find ANY bots that can do this, and I've spoken to A LOT of people who would love this feature, so going to you guys with it first, cause I love the Mee6 bot.

When I start streaming on Mixer, I manually change my Server picture from "Normal" to on that has "Live" text written on it.

I am a derp rawderp and often forget to change the image back when I go offlline. I'd love a widget for Mee6, that would allow the bot to automatically change my server image depending on if I am live or not.

Mee6 doesn't even view mixer streams yet, but I'm pretty sure automatically changing the server image has been denied because of ratelimits, etc.

I would suggest creating more functionality to custom commands to allow for custom input.

For example:
!coord <coord1> <coord2> <coord3> <coord name>

This would allow you to do something with the input from those three variables and create messages dynamically. As you can see, I want to create a system that will take the user's input and post a configured message using that information while removing the invocation.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

Hi Everyone,

I went through the #┃upvote-suggestions channel but I wasn't able to find this one, so here it is:

In the MEE6 web dashboard, under COMMANDS, it would be really nice to have a custom order for them for ease of remembrance. For an example, I want to add commands for members to choose customized roles. So, I add one for help to show all the commands, and for every role, 2 commands for add and remove. If I have several roles, I would have several roles * 2 commands, and if by any chance I messed up the order, I would be going through the entire list to find the other one in the pair.

Currently I use the FIND IN WEBPAGE to go along, and I keep rigorous hand written notes, but just a feature that might be helpful to someone. This might be even more helpful in the case of several admins managing the MEE6 dashboard.

Other than that, MEE6 is a wonderful bot that 'just works' without any issues. Kudos to everyone developing it and managing it!

@sour kelp Custom commands are a core part of MEE6 and i highly doubt we would ever make them premium to use.
the levels system is free to use, yes it is important also to MEE6, what we made premium was the additional feature to the levels system "role-rewards".
You can find it in #┃upvote-suggestions a suggestion to make 3 for free then ask for premium.
Making premium features free is not an option currently on the table, so that's the best I can offer you if you'd like to see that possibly.

Custom commands have a whitelist and a blacklist of roles, but only a blacklist of channels. I'd really like a whitelist of channels (so I can add two whitelisted channels instead of fifty blacklisted ones).

What if you tradeMark MEE6? Wouldn't that stop others making fake mee6s?

I mean, you don't see fake DYNOs, cos DYNO is trademarked. I reckon you should, from a business point of view, if customers think that fake MEE6 actually is real mee6 (when it's not) it can BADLY damage your reputation. I strongly recommend doing this. I was reading a support channel, and I saw another example of a fake MEE6. You guys NEED TO DO IT FAST!!

One time, I added a channel with a very long name to MEE6's no xp list, then later tried to remove it, and I couldn't, and thus had to delete the channel and remake it in order to remove it.

you should be able to customize the xp required to reach a level, the xp gained per post (Along with possibly the ability to make longer messages give more exp), and the maximum level.

In addition, making separate roles for the 100 levels that already exist is super annoying, especially if you're trying to put them in order so it doesn't look weird. To that end, I suggest your level no longer be a role. Now, I'm not paying for MEE6 premium, so I have to manually administer the roles, and I imagine I would have to keep using them, or possibly have the levels system, but still have to personally administer them. You would still be able to grant permissions, change the color of, and change the name of, certain levels as you please.

I'm the server owner, and I want to be level 100 NOW! You should be able to set players levels with MEE6, as well as give the permission to set levels.

One time, I added a channel with a very long name to MEE6's no xp list, then later tried to remove it, and I couldn't, and thus had to delete the channel and remake it in order to remove it.
for future reference you could just temporarily rename the channel to something shorter, then remove it on the dashboard

MEEWAVE6 I assume you want some kind of verification system for your server, so here's what you need to do:
1. Create a role named "Verified" and "Not Verified" for example.

2. Go to your channel settings. :gear: > Permissions > Deny the read messages permission RedTick for the "Not Verified" role, so they can't see the channels.

3. Create a channel called #Verification and allow the "Not Verified" role to read messages GreenTick here.

4. Go to your MEE6 dashboard https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and select your server, then the Welcome plugin welcome Scroll to the bottom and add a role to give to a user when they join the server. (The "Not Verified" role).

5. Go to the Custom Commands plugin cc and create one called "!Verify" then add the actions "Give Role" and "Remove Role".
• Select the "Verified" role to be given.
• Select the "Not Verified" role to be removed.
• Scroll to the bottom and select "Clear command invocation" then save the command.

Idea 1) About the external link plugin: If my website has 300 pages and that each page can have 10 parameters, I need to whitelist 3000 URL. It would be necessary to give the possibility of whitelist an entire domain name, while retaining the possibility of whitelist a set of pages.

Over the last few years the bot has exploded in popularity, and is now in millions of servers.
The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.

We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.

We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

Enhance the custom commands (or create a new category) that would send a command to an outside source. I.e., !gettheweather 55555 could be set to send a message to a URL (like a REST API) with zip={parameter1}. The backend of that call could then send a message back into the Discord server via a webhook. Mainly I'm thinking though that it would allow a path to using other chatbots that are already set up to work with other platforms but don't work with Discord because of how the communication it set up.

MEEWAVE6 I assume you want some kind of verification system for your server, so here's what you need to do:
1. Create a role named "Verified" and "Not Verified" for example.

2. Go to your channel settings. :gear: > Permissions > Deny the read messages permission RedTick for the "Not Verified" role, so they can't see the channels.

3. Create a channel called #Verification and allow the "Not Verified" role to read messages GreenTick here.

4. Go to your MEE6 dashboard https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and select your server, then the Welcome plugin welcome Scroll to the bottom and add a role to give to a user when they join the server. (The "Not Verified" role).

5. Go to the Custom Commands plugin cc and create one called "!Verify" then add the actions "Give Role" and "Remove Role".
• Select the "Verified" role to be given.
• Select the "Not Verified" role to be removed.
• Scroll to the bottom and select "Clear command invocation" then save the command.

Suggestion/question: I love the clear function and it has been so useful on our server, but I have a specific thing I would like it to do, and I can't seem to find a bot capable of doing it. As time goes on there has been a lot of spam in the past that we would like to delete without deleting the recent stuff. So for example, something like clear >1 month to clear everything older than one month. Sort of like an archive function but just to delete history that's older than a certain span of time. PLS make it so that you can do "allowed channels" as well as the banned channels thingo, cuz i have to write every single channel except for dat one that i want, e.g. when you wannat all the commands to work only in you "commands" channel.

@tight idol unlikely to work because most sites don't provide an API. And an API is needed to source info from those sites to here, hence why not a lot of sites are in bots because they don't have an API

Well allowing the bot to notify discord when people go live on mixer has been up voted but nothing has happened yet. So my question is why focus on twitch and YouTube when more and more people are migrating to mixer. From a business stand point that only makes since to move where the people are going. You dont see people using VHS anymore and the DVD is slowly dying. Can we get mixer on board or not?

So... i've noticed MEE6 had a... very significant update this year!
Amongst the many things that have changed, the automod "warn" message has also changed from

{user} has been warned because of {reason} (or something like that i cant remember school drains my memory)
BUT:

The new one is something like this:


MEE6BOTToday at 10:02
:CHECK6: {user} has been warned
`reason: {reason}`

NO OFFENSE, but it doesn't look very nice. I was thinking, this is the perfect place where MEE6 can make full use of Discord Embeds!
You could embed:

  • The rules in #〉rules
  • The Automated warn message
  • Give an option to send an embed message in the welcome plugin
  • You could even make custom embed commands, or tags. This could be a very attractive new feature in MEE6 Premium!

Embeds are dynamic messages that have a good flow on discord. They look nice and may attract the user into interacting with them.
