@serene fractal implement several of the leveling system suggestions but dont allow those without premium to use them it could convince more people to opt in to premium. I currently dont pay for premium and i had mee6 before the recent changes but if you add several of those suggestions to the level up system i know i would subscribe to premium for them and im sure others who like me have the level system without premium would change to premium for those.

this isn't voting what you don't want, this is just seeing what is asked a lot in this channel, as we have sometimes the same suggestions every day.
We make the decision whether to add something or not, which isnt determined by popularity.

anyway to go with my above suggestion im refering to like the reset xp for someone not on server or when someone leaves i would sub premium for those features and i know there are others who have levels without paying for premium that would likely do the same

Levels and XP are not a premium feature, these are free to use.
It is only role-rewards which are premium only.

The ability to have custom commands use other commands but not other custom commands in order to prevent command looping. I think this would go well with some of the other custom command suggestions in upvote channel.

we need a way to control the reddit webhook. it posts too much on popular subreddits. we either need to be able to tell the bot a rate at which to post, or allow it to only post HOT posts on a sub reddit

@serene fractal Levels plugin is free, role rewards needs premium, and this is how it will stay currently.
MEE6 is not free to run and we try to make as many features as we can for free.
Development, Maintaining and a lot of time goes into MEE6 and its not cheap... especially for a bot MEE6's size, the devs wouldnt keep it as it is currently unless it was needed to keep the MEE6 dream going, and thats what theyre doing.
Without this decision then MEE6 would likely suffer in the long run, and new features would take even longer to develop than they currently are.

If a user gets tempmuted, lets say for 10m, and then a moderator unmutes them, the automod will unmute them again even though they're already unmuted. if possible i think it would make more sense if it it didnt unmute again.

Suggestion: MEE6 important Announcements should be sent to respective Discord Owners the bot is present in.
Not everyone tweets, follows social media or is in this to track announcements even. Could be a simple way to have a "PSA"-framework for this bot, as long as it doesent get spammy.

that screenshot.. shows the settings I want and use on one of the biggest discord servers
when something happens from auto mod actions, it deletes the messages as I want them to be done
when that happens, I want that to ONLY be logged in the logs channel, hence the reason for the suggestion

Currently mute works for the whole server, and I don't think mute for only one channel is planned, as it needs to edit the channel configuration instead of just adding a role

Have a give xp command that allows people to optionally transfer xp to others. Admins are not allowed to take xp away or add it, but someone can give xp to others. If an admin gives xp to someone, the xp will still be removed from them.

Ok, I would like a partial remove system to punish people because if I manually demote them they will go up 2 roles, if not then maybe putting someone on the no-xp list temporarily as one of the auto-punishments

How it works: Create an Ad Channel (server of user choice) that will display an advert every 5-10 minutes. If the bot realizes that the channel has been deleted, the premium features will be removed (but the data for role reward system stays, just cannot be used)

What it does:

Gives access to Role rewards
Gives access to some (not all) backgrounds for rank card
Custom leader board banner
Does NOT have ad-free leaderboard
Has the music plugin
No music quiz
No audio recording
If you want to, give them the premium role

Once again, if the ad channel is deleted, then the features will be taken away, not even the role reward system will work (but the data is still kept for up to 1 week)

The only problem with MEE6 is that sometimes there is times when you use the command or so, it won't respond. I remembered one time that I want MEE6 to maintain moderation of NSFW Images, it's very hard and it may ruin the experience of other servers as well. Cute bot and but the music feature has to be free, and plus you can limit 5% volume quality for free users, anyway.

How you've got it set up for the Reddit plugin, but one for Twitter. It'll be quite nice to have something the same as the Reddit one, I was thinking of having it so I could set it up for the OSRS twitter, so whenever they post it'll nofif my server. Reddit clutters my chat up too much (only because anyone can post on their page) so, it'd be nice for a Twitter one so only when the Twitter acc/JMods post it'll notif us. IF this makes sense 😂 thanks guys!

You should add commands to give people a certain amount of xp and take away a certain amount of xp, for example, !add {user} {amount of xp} or !remove {user} {amount of xp}`

Reasons?
- We want to avoid bias in our system.
- It's easily abused by admins.
- Not worth the time to add.

Allow MEE6 to gain xp once every minute if a command is used. MEE6 can level up when more commands are used and maybe also when others level up. Then you can compare your server's to other servers' MEE6's, or simply compare your own level to your MEE6.

Tree Levelling System

Basically a user can choose different "paths"
Like you have role X, Y and Z (or maybe more) that you can choose from
And from there on you can unlock roles based on the role that you chose
Like if you choose the X role you will be able to unlock X1, X2, X3 etc.
If you choose the Y role you will be able to unlock Y1, Y2, Y3.

Can auto-mod have a timer for how long you want it to be muted or how long temp ban is? So 3 infractions is mute for 12 and 5 is mute for 24? Currently we can’t do that. Just a suggestion

To reset levels, you need to have the Administrator perm (which grants you the ability to access the servers dashboard). The leaderboard can be found by doing !levels or https://mee6.xyz/leaderboard/SERVERID where SERVERID is the server's ID
