To use some stuff in custom command or any other text from Mee6 you need to use the ID:
First get the ID of that object by typing it in your server with a\ in front:
Emoji: soontm ➡ < soontm 230340006219087873>
Mention: <@&435889630408081408> ➡ @fringe verge
Channel: #〉announcements ➡ [#〉announcements](/guild/159962941502783488/channel/159962941502783488/)
Then copy that ID(with the < > and everything in between),
Now paste that in your custom command, welcome message, stream announcement, etc...

I actually have this setting turned off in my server's settings for everyone but my mods yet someone used it earlier today and it actually pinged those who were online. I double checked my server settings multiple times just to make sure that was turned off and it is, so I'm really confused that this person was able to use that mention

It'd be nice if there was a way to enable moderation pings if certain things are happening.

Ex. If several spam bots attack a server and are trying to post multiple links and stuff or just post spam, allow mee6 to @ mention a role to take a look at the issue to make sure any follow can happen in a timely manner.

My org's servers have been hit with scam essay bots lately and I only found out after checking bot logs. Would like to be notified about that stuff. Maybe have conditions where if X amount of moderation actions are taken, ping a role

@fading crown Thanks, to give you a bit more context, I have a Destiny clan server and we have a few LFG Channels for activities. However, we also use a BOT that sets up event posts that users can react to to add themselves to the event (joining a raid or activity etc). However, sometimes when the post is made, people are chatting in the channel, and the post gets lost in the random chit chat and other user can't find the event post to join it.

So if someone has a sub role like me then it would be much easier. Instead of going into your creator studio and going to subscribers and then giving them the role. Role Rewards are available via my Leveling Plugin. You gain XP and Levels as you are active and can be used to give active members special perks in your servers.

I do not add roles instantly, I only check when changes are made or someone levels up.

I believe so. The idea is I am using the bot to track guildie participation within the server. We do, however, have alot of non-guildies in the discord. It would be nice to not have my tracker cluttered up with just friends/allies when their participation isnt being tracked anyway.

I suggest that move the xp bar and everything more to the right.

Reason:
▫️The xp bar is touching the end of the photo on the left side
▫️So it would look symmetrical for phone users. (assuming it just looks like this on phone) and would definitely look more presentable.

Reasons?
- We want to avoid bias in our system.
- It's easily abused by admins.
- Not worth the time to add.

Originally the bot was based off Meeseeks from rick and morty, the meeseeks box. Press the button, you get a meeseeks to help you with any basic task.

We took that and morphed it into our own brand, although hopefully just as helpful, MEE6.

Now we're a bot with over 1m servers with three lovely fulltime staff and a ton of awesome volunteers who help keep it running.

Suggestion
MEE6 creates roles for role rewards.

Explanation
When setting up role rewards, have MEE6 create blank roles named with the level a user can receive them at underneath his own role.
e.g. Set a lvl 10 reward on the dashboard > Mee6 will create a role called "Level 10" in your server.

This makes it easier so people dont have to rearrange MEE6's role position in the server settings as the roles will always be created beneath his own and the user can go back after these roles have been created to change the colours, permissions name etc...

<@&403768316105064458> First of all excuse my English. Is there any chance it'll be implemented soon a way to filter out Twitch games? That'd be great, that's all he needs. I plan to migrate to other bots, but I don't want to, because mee6 is comfortable for the rest of things. While others offer the option of filtering, they are more uncomfortable to use because it is through commands. Mee6 has the advantage that it has a very simple interface. I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise, really because of our large flow of users and requests on our server with streamers, we will have to use another bot or develop our own for that specific function.

Suggestion: Allow the setup of specific channels and what they allow in terms of links. Currently using the "Ignored Channels" feature allows ALL websites to be posted, using the "Allowed Websites" allow those links to be posted in the whole discord server. This is problematic when you want people to post those links in specific channels, but you also want to block certain links in a channel (For my example, we wanna block twitch.tv links as people keep advertising their own stream without permission).

Example: We have a Screenshot channel, where we would allow "Gyazo" and "Lightshot" links, as both are software that can capture a screenshot and generate a link, all other links we want disabled in this specific channel.
Example 2: We have a Links-and-memes channel, we want to allow specific websites (Such as youtube, imgur (etc)). We want to however block twitch.tv links for this channel too.
However, with both of these, we only want those links to be posted in those 2 channels, using the "Allowed Websites" feature, allows these websites to be posted throughout the whole discord. Hopefully you understand what I am talking about! Cheers! MEEWAVE6

My idea is on the custom commands, on the reply if it's on, we can custom it like normaly MEE6 says when we don't have the permissions this : User, it doesn't look like you can use that. :SMILESWEAT6: and other things, i suggere that we can change the message for what we can example because i'am french : User, il semble que vous n'avez pas les permission 😔

Instead, if this user has the specified permission, say, ban members to ban someone, or to mute a person, have the mute members permission in voice, Mee6 does the requested function, instead of trusted roles. This fixed a security flaw I was told is possible, where people with just the manage server permission can add any role as a moderator.

Like when you type a command and you don't have the permission, MEE6 says User, it doesn't look like you can use that or when you use the !youtube on reply when MEE6 not found the vidéo he says Error, not found my suggestions is that we can change those reply but idk if its possible like because i'm french, change it to Vous n'avez pas la permision or Le fichier demandé n'a pas été trouvé

@serene fractal that's a pretty big headache when your community is run and built by multiple streamers way easier just to have a here option besides most people get annoyed by servers that ping everyone multiple times a day myself included so those servers get completely muted which then my announcements are pointless lol, just my normal announce bot has been down more then working the last month or two, so tried a different one and that one had a bug that announce repeatedly while streaming so now we started using mee6 to announce and so far that's our only con

You still can remove the everyone ping, create a role for each individual streamer, make a command with the streamers name that gives the role, let the people give themselves said role and ping the role for the streamer

Like I said a lot of headaches compared to having a drop down box in mee6 that gives options instead of being locked into either ping everyone or no ping at all. To me I feel like any bot that does announcing in discord servers should have the option to ping everyone or here just my opinion

Also a command for someone to reset their own level. Mee6 could post a code (randomised 4 digit code or something) which they would have to type to confirm the reset
