If I appear to be denying your hard earned experience, or !rank and !levels aren't working properly...

Make sure Levels is Enabled.
Check that you do not have a banned role in the levels configuration, and that you aren't in a banned channel either.
Make sure that I can see the channel you are talking in with "Read Messages" and send messages with "Send Messages".

Having problems muting someone/they aren't muted? Check the following

Prerequisites:

Moderator plugin is enabled
!mute command isn't disabled
Bot has role with Manage Roles and Manage Channels permissions
Muted role is under MEE6 role
You're trying to mute someone using !mute @mention reason, otherwise it will not work

If user got Muted role but still can talk means there's issue with your channel permissions
Go to Channel Settings -> Permissions

If that's public channel that can be accessed by anyone:

Set Send Messages for all roles except Muted
Set Send Messages for Muted role

If that's secret channel that requires *special* role to access it:

Set Send Messages Read Messages for special role
Set Send Messages Read Messages for Muted role
Set Send Messages Read Messages for @everyone role

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

Third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discordapp.com/app in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm action
2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on avatar icon in upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout
3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in upper right corner
3.2 In new window login to Discord. After that you will be redirected back to MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using correct account and MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.

GreenTick I can help make sure that your friends read your rules before they join RedTick

1) Enable the Welcome Plugin welcome and select your Not Verified role to be given when new users join

2) Create a new Reaction Role message to have people agree with in the Reaction Roles Plugin reactionroles

3) Add one reaction for your friends to Agree with GreenTick

4) Click the + next to the reaction to assign the Verified role for your new friends

5) Add another reaction RedTick and connect the Not Verified role. This is important later

6) Check that the Reaction Role message has Default behavior and Do not allow users to pick up multiple roles

7) Make sure that you selected the channel you want this message posted in and that I can Send Messages and Add Reactions to it, then Save.

8) This is very important. DELETE the REACTION for the Not Verified Role from the Message IN YOUR CHANNEL but not on the Dashboard

1. Create a role named `Unverified` and have Welcome plugin to issue it to your new members on join (`!dashboard` => Welcome plugin => `Give a role to new users`);
2. Create a channel named `#verification`, set Read Messages permission for `@everyone` to ![RedTick](https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/375575883097833483.webp?size=128 "RedTick") and ![GreenTick](https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/375576212568801280.webp?size=128 "GreenTick") for `Unverified` role;
3. Go through permission overwrites of *all* the public channels in your server (except `#verification`) and set Read Messages permission for `Unverified` role to ![RedTick](https://cdn.discordapp.com/emojis/375575883097833483.webp?size=128 "RedTick");
4. Finally, create a Reaction Role message inside Reaction Roles plugin in your `!dashboard`, and set it's Action mode to `Reverse`, click on `Add reaction`, select an emoji of your preference and attach `Unverified` role to it in the role selector (role selector is prompted after you click on (+) next to the emoji);

Having problems muting someone/they aren't muted? Check the following

Prerequisites:

Moderator plugin is enabled
!mute command isn't disabled
Bot has role with Manage Roles and Manage Channels permissions
Muted role is under MEE6 role
You're trying to mute someone using !mute @mention reason, otherwise it will not work

If user got Muted role but still can talk means there's issue with your channel permissions
Go to Channel Settings -> Permissions

If that's public channel that can be accessed by anyone:

Set Send Messages for all roles except Muted
Set Send Messages for Muted role

If that's secret channel that requires *special* role to access it:

Set Send Messages Read Messages for special role
Set Send Messages Read Messages for Muted role
Set Send Messages Read Messages for @everyone role

Essentially, the way users interact with bots is about to become much simpler - it's as easy as typing "/" to bring up all the commands that bot can do. Slash Commands come with features like autocomplete, validation, and error handling. No more typing up memorized commands, which means bots no longer need to read user messages!

We're excited for how this update will unlock more fun with bots, and since we know many of you are careful with where and how you manage bot permissions, we wanted to give you a special heads up on what this is and what small actions you can take today to prepare for the upcoming release.

What this means for you
- We are launching a new permission: "Use Slash Commands."
- Currently, if you've wanted to avoid bot spam in certain channels, you may have turned off read/send message permissions for bots.
- However, if those bots use Slash Commands in the future, you'll need to configure this new permission in order to keep your channels consistent with how they're set up today. Otherwise, Slash Commands may be able to get around your old permissions setups. Commands are sent directly to the bot and not through reading user messages.
- Go through your channels and decide where you do and do not want to allow Slash Commands to be used (yes #botspam, no #null).

You can see this permission option today on desktop, and on mobile in a few days.
