Appling the buff doesnt give it a stack, its just like battle scars in that the first actuall stats starts on wave 12. Im pretty sure that lifesteal scales much worse than hp, what use is 50% lifesteal when wave 19 starts hitting that unit. Its good in that you can control what the attack speed goes on, and lifesteal is definitly stronger in the mid game w11-15ish, but its doesnt seem significantly better or worse than BS
Preliminary data suggests it's on the strong side but doesn't seem broken and it may be overrated.
In Plat+:
- 65% pick rate (highest in the game)
- 49.7% win rate (below average)
- Note that Battle Scars has a higher win rate at 51.7%
In Legend (low sample size):
- 65% pick rate (highest in the game)
- 51.8% win rate (above average)
- Note that Battle Scars has a higher win rate at 55.2%
May be nerfed next patch, but let's see!
I think a part of this is biased as well since it's new lots of people pick it whether it actually should or shouldn't be picked in a certain scenario.
Do you think the win rate will go down overtime as people learn to play around it
Agreed, which is why we look at both pick rate and win rate. The very high pick rate + average win rate suggests it's strong.
My guess is that after the novelty of it being a new spell wears off and players learn they shouldn't pick it every game, the pick rate will decrease (though remain high because it's a fun / high fantasy spell) and the win rate will slightly increase (as players who shouldn't be picking it are filtered out).
I do agree with that completely
it will be a good 11-16 legion spell
afterwards its probably negligible the benefits vs what can be sent
