Choose your favorite classic mode

Let players choose up to 3 favorite classic modes that gets picked instead of current Hot mode if at least 7/8 players have the same one in Queue or at the start of match

This would ensure that more popular modes get to see more play, which might lead to better engagement with classic

I assume currently quite a few players are totally ignoring the classic que, whenever the more popular hot modes are not active

We already have the UI for this with "automatic voting"
Where you can just add "favorite" box to mark, and notify player this is available.

It's a cool idea, but the two problems are:

1. It would split up the player base and increase queue times. Anything that does this is basically a non-starter.
2. Implementation cost. The design of this is straightforward, but implementation is difficult and likely out of scope.

Good news is that we have improvements to classic coming in our Season 2025 patch, so I think every mode (except Tower Defense) will be well-liked, and Tower Defense barely shows up anyway.

• Faster rotation for classic modes
