#Reveal all Playstyles at Game start or Have draft phase for playstyles at start

Thanks for everyones flame in advance...

Playstyles seemed to be created for people to enjoy a certain style of play (obvious from words I know).

But game encourages you to pick various styles which is cool. But picking various styles is way too powerful when lets say 2 of the 4 players are known to have a playstyle and pick a megamind while 2 pick somewhat random, causing it to be more of a guessing game/coin flip.

I would LOVE to see a pick/ban phase of masterminds at start of game so we get some variety in games (if it's a duo q, it's very frequently a fiesta inter plus overbuilder for example)

At least show the masterminds to everyone at wave 1 start if there isn't going to be a draft phase (which most other competitive games have. This is a very casual game I know, but hoping ranked can be more competitive one day).

It's unfair that only a few masterminds are known/shown wave 1. It makes things like Kingsguard and sometimes cash out worse.

If showing all masterminds, you can remove +1 gold from megamind and have its bonus be the unknown (which is much bigger than people understand.

I don't really like the idea of revealing master minds, but the idea of a quick pick/ban phase would be pretty cool

Pick and ban in a game with a public api, where everyone can scout your prefered mastermind sure seems like a good idea /s

That said, revealing all masterminds at the start of the game is something I'm open to trying out

I agree with Penny on this point. A dev posted a Graf, not that long ago with the win rates of each master mind options and their wirate are all on a similar %. The worst one was chaos with 47-48% (if I remember correctly) everyone else was almost 50%.
I also don't see how you should adapt for the remaining (hidden) masterminds.
Yeah you might anticipate a 3th (different) t6 unit when you know the enemy has reroll...but in the end...but that doesn't usually change your send that much. Will you ever not send on 15 when you see the enemies lack of magic dmg just because he might roll a surprise hades?

A pick/ban, on the other hand, I can get behind it. At least for tournaments or special events.

I think it will get pretty annoying to look up and ban my opponents’ preferred masterminds every game

I had to do that for hots and tft and it got old pretty quick having to tab back and forth between the game and the browser just to check what people liked to play

Sir3, two things.

  1. We don't flame you for fun, you just some wild takes sometimes and get a tad defensive.

  2. It's not a bad idea presented here and this would be cool for some special mode, but I don't wanna wait longer to play vibeo gane.
