i typed /mute "Name" in game and it didn't keep the person from continuing to flame me in direct messages. how can i stop this?

/mute was the only option i found in /help

and typing /mute "Name" again gave error message, that i'm already ignoring the person, while they kept shittalking me

you can disable whispers in settings -> social ->recieve whispers from and choose either only from friends or nobody

thanks - i didn't want to disable it for everyone, or even all non-friends, i just wanted to disable it for that one person

maybe selecting "ignore" takes a relog or something to take effect?

Hmm, did you see a message that the other person was successfully muted after you typed the command /mute name? Ususally when you mute someone they shouldn't be able to whisper you anymore

Or did you perhaps reply to them after you muted them? Since replying to someone will put them on some sort of whitelist which might overwrite the mute but I'll have to run some tests on that

I tried to reproduce this issue but wasn't able to. After muting some other account it would always block the mute in my tests

nope, but I didn't get any message that they were successfully muted. I did type the exact screen name that it showed in his message, though. Once case sensitive and once in all lower case.
