#Show enemy value in the tab screen

When you use tab to check the enemy build it could also show their total fighter value, so you can better estimate if you can break them or how hard they pushed last wave etc...
This would basically be a QoL feature since you can just calculate the value by yourself every wave, but that's pretty annoying and not very beginner-friendly.

Speaking from my own point of view. That would make the game a lot easier, maybe even to easy.. These were discussions in the past too. The question is: Is estimating and keeping track of your opponents value a skill or not?

Best argument is it is just QOL. Enemy value is always available for all to see anyways, you currently have to do a lot of pointless math atm tho

#

is the game better doing a lot of pointless math? Or is it better with the information more readily available so players can think more about whether to send mole or drake

#

I’d argue the latter

Fair point, but I think you would still need to keep track of what exactly your opponent did last wave (which exact units did he build,...).
Showing the value just saves you some time and I think being quick at maths shouldn't be a determining skill in this game.
The more important skill for this game will still be predicting your opponents action on the next wave and that won't change with this feature.

I think early game it would be a nice QoL feature but in mid or lategame it would make the game much easier as Toikan says. I think it's a skill to keep track of what the enemies have and how many workers they might or might not have pushed rather than just having a number tell me he added 200 gold for wave 18 🤷‍♂️

#

But you can definitely make an argument for showing it as well (:

I got fairly good at counting it, so naturally I want the value not to be shown 🙂

yeah, personally (veteran legion gamer) I think its a skill. Some are good in building, some are good at sending at the correct wave and some have skills in keeping track of the opponents. The high ELO players are closest to perfectly own that skill set. And like snek said, my counting skills improved a lot playing legion 🙂

#

not saying that I'm against it though, same for the estimated gold/mythium you get. It was also kinda fun when we didn't had that and all had to calculate it ourselfs

I think fighter value should be displayed. More time to think about strategy rather than counting value.

yeah my opinion is neutral, I don't mind both. I mean the players I know are already able to do it themselves and it helps new players

#

except from julian who doesn't know what wave 7 + 3 waves is Dino

I mean the positive is that I could tab out and watch more hentai educational youtube videos while playing ltd2 calculated

#

true Toikan, I literally cant add

I wonder if it should also mark the recently built fighters in tab or if that would be too easy

I don't mind it; it introduces the mind game that already exists at high elo mid/late game

Imo it's good the way it is. Having to guesstimate how much went into troops n how much into workers, adds more spice to the game
