Waiting 3-5 mins for a game only to get dodged by a player not building on 1 sucks, getting 0 essence for our trouble sucks even more.
Give players (on the non dodging team at least) some essence for their time.

I agree with Herp, the amount of times Sir3 has dodged me is probably about 69 times. It would be nice to get 420 red essence for my troubles.

Yes I know the current situation, but I think it would be fair to count that as a win for the team that was present, as a canceled match for the lonely enemy and a double loss for the leaver

Imagine showing up to a boxing match and then suddenly going "alright no I'm fine i'm going home". for me that's a forfeit not a cancel, but i also believe that the teammate that showed up should not be punished as its outside of his control

teammate should not be punished unless you are a duo i would say imho ofcourse if it happens often with the same people you could punish that in some other way so it wont get abused

Dodger (and any duo of the dodger) loses 8 Elo, and the other players all gain 1 Elo, so personally, I don't mind when my game is dodged. I'll take a free +1 any day.
Will consider in a future patch adding a small essence compensation as well.
