What is this Ranking system?

I like to play Ranked in Trackmania 2020, but when I play ranked the points system just seems arbitrary. on multiple occasions my team has won and I lost points. Granted, I'm not first. But I don't understand how you lose points when being third and winning.

you were 5th overall in terms of points scored, that puts you at -20, with a win bonus of +10 and probably adjustments for the opponent team being stronger MMR wise, so you only lost 1 point

in the old ranking system, you'd have gotten points for winning, even though you performed worse than most players in the match

essentially, the current ranking system prioritizes individual performance over team performance

TM has no real MM system. All depends onto a cheap point system like in 1999

But you can try to create a REAL MM System with Plugins/Scripts if u are familiar with little programming.

it'd be better if it was 1v1v1v1 but then the casuals would get scared away
