#Resolution auto reverts.

What is your monitor native resolution and do you have more than one monitor?
I have two monitors, the primary one being this one (2560x1440) and also a 1920x1080 monitor.
The window width and height used to be locked to 1920x1080 but I changed my display mode to windowed temporarily and changed it to this size instead but I couldnt make it 1440 on height this was instead the maximum for it. Don't actually know if this changes anything in game but I'd assume so?
@crisp surge try using the plugin "force display mode" or something along that name. sometime TM goes into windowed borderless an doesn't save fullscreen which may cause resolugion to revert to native
Ah yeah I've been using that one for quite a while, doesn't change the window height or width tho. Also my resolution just reverted once again to 1920x1080 after restarting my game so this feels super odd.
You are supposed to have the same window x height as your resolution right?
is your 2560x1440 the main monitor?
if not, try changing it to be the main monitor in windows
yeah no real issues there, is there maybe something i could change in the game files?
at the top where u have ur display device set ingame in settings -> graphics
just set it to default instead of the graphics card
that MIGHT help
so like this instead of directly selecting the graphics card
because my graphics card shows up twice in the list, once for each monitor
you might have selected the wrong one
Oh ok, just tried it also didn't work but I neither have the same thing u said where there are 2 graphics cards. I only got the one i used in the picture and the default setting. Neither of which seem to do anything.
I also did try changing the default.json file real quick to match my resolution but that seemed to screw with all my other settings so i had to undo it
also
the 1351 seems correct
because if you set window size, it'll not go past your taskbar
ic
also the window border itself is also removed from the height calculation
that's for windowed mode only thouhg
But do these settings affect anything when it comes to the fullscreen resolution
no
oj
as long as the fullscreen resolution says 2560x1440 you're good to go
well then I'll just play the game in fullscreen lol
borderless window won't work?
then use that
why?
because if you're on windows 11, it should have the same performance as fullscreen
oo i didn't know that
and it won't black out your screen for 2-3 secs when you alt tab
it doesn't
again it's just for windowed mode
borderless window will always use ur monitor resolution
alright then I'm gonna be using that
