#race end stats take awfully long to load

Hi, im new to the game and ive been trying to get the race end stats to pop up faster after i finish any race ive download the game to both ssd and hdd with plently of space still in them so they are working perfectly fine im running the game on a decent system so that wont be the issue it literally takes up to 2-3 full minutes before anything pops up after i finish a race

update: i deleted the game from steam and dowloaded from epic games and the exact same issue happens again

Well the epic version is already a bit broken on its own. The issue could be slow network that's struggling to upload ur finish data

well i just fixxed the issue apperently the game has a very low upload limit set by its own so i just increased the setting and its fine now

Ah it was network. Yeah, set that to high anyways, makes online play actually work too

it was fine for a few runs now its broken again+i have a good and stable internet connection via ethernet

another issue im running into is that every time i close the game and relaunch it all the settings i previously set are reset and so are my campain times (im starter access btw)

removing read-only didn't fix it either

funny thing is i've played trackmania again on this system and i had no difficulty setting up anything at all

Try to remove read only from the Trackmania folder/s in Documents (and their subfolders)

im removing readonly from the trackmanianext folder in c drive and applying it and its getting automatically reverted as soon as i check it again i also dont have a trackmania folder in my documents

OneDrive can cause several problems with Trackmania installations:

  • If you're using OneDrive to back up your Documents folder, things can break when OneDrive runs out of space - it will typically just stop syncing but it can also throw errors and cause file conflicts.
  • OneDrive occasionally has issues with special characters in file names - this can especially cause problems with map files, causing them to randomly disappear as OneDrive syncs.
  • OneDrive has an option to serve the backed-up files on demand from the cloud and to delete everything locally (to save disk space). This can typically also cause a variety of issues from corrupted file contents to missing data.

In general, it's recommended to not use OneDrive's back-up feature at all - or to at least exclude the Trackmania/Trackmania2020 folder from it.
You can configure those options in the OneDrive settings (under the Settings and the Backup tabs).

both issues have been resolved by deleting the game and reinstalling ubisoft and using trackmania from there(previously steam)
