#Game crash on specific maps only (after 2 to 3 minutes everytime)

hi everyone,
I have this issue which prevent me to do MM and make it extremely difficult to hunt time attack.

so on specific maps only (such as 2024 spring map 14, 18, 22, 24, 25)
the game will systematicly freeze every single time after 2 to 3 minutes.

(additionnal infos :

I also have this issue in previous campaign, some royal maps, some TOTD maps, etc.
even if i go back to menu, the game will still crash 2 to 3 minutes after i entered those maps.
does anybody know how to fix this?
I have asked tons of people on tons of twitch streams and nobody ever found a solution to it.
I tried repair on steam, reinstall game, settings to minimum, fps super low etc, updated drivers, playing with no add-on, using add-on supposed to help performance issue, etc.
nothing seems to work, I'm out of idea, don't really wanna reinstall windows... )

Trying to get Trackmania (2020) to run on Intel graphics hardware and running into issues?

If you're using an Intel Arc or Iris Xe GPU, make sure you've updated your drivers: Version 31.0.101.4826 from September 2023 contains a fix specifically for Trackmania crashing on start.

Using the latest drivers but it still doesn't work? Check ?dxvk for a possible workaround - be warned that it might require a bit of tinkering though.

if you are using intel graphics, make sure you actually got that right driver update

if you have both intel graphics(or any integrated gpu for that matter) and a dedicated GPU, make sure the game uses your dedicated gpu and not the intel one

also, try running the game without openplanet

You can hold the Pause/Break key on your keyboard when the game starts, that'll stop Openplanet from starting with it.
If that doesn't work or you don't have that key, you can also rename dinput8.dll to something else in your game directory.

like, i get that it might not be able to be fixed, but maybe it could, right?

can someone help me make sure i have the proper updated drivers and all i need to run to my best with what i got ?

hmkay, well, im trying to update my stuff, and im bad at computer.
so you are saying if its unsupported it means automaticly any issue with it can't be fixed? that sounds wrong to me.

That intel command is for arc or iris right? Which is not what i use

Run into issues with Intel graphics hardware on Trackmania (2020)?

There's been some reports of getting the game to run reasonably well with the help of DXVK (if all else fails). While it's not a guaranteed fix, it might be worth a try. See here for a helpful guide.
