#TM2020 freeze and Ubisoft ad pops up

When trying to open TM2020 game freezes on loading screen then closes and Ubisoft connects pops up with an ad. Attempted to change ad settings and doesn't seem to change.

hasnt been working for about 2 hours since I got home, game has run smoothly since I got the laptop 2 years ago

maybe check that ur laptop hasnt defaulted back to default graphics?

also make sure the laptop is plugged in and charging properly and that you're not stuck in energy saving mode

My Ubisoft connect does say beta in the top left corner not sure if there is some update im missing?

try disabling openplanet for now

You can hold the Pause/Break key on your keyboard when the game starts, that'll stop Openplanet from starting with it.
If that doesn't work or you don't have that key, you can also rename dinput8.dll to something else in your game directory.

go to your Documents folder

and just rename the Trackmania folder to something like TrackmaniaBackup

#

and then try to start the game

see if that does the trick

that will reset most of your graphics settings tho

no just like copy the old maps folder from TrackmaniaBackup to the newly created Trackmania folder
