Hey folks. I usually use L2 as a Cam3 and R2 as Cam1 toggles, but it's been faulty for me since December '23.
I recently upgraded to a PS5 controller, and the same issue still persists. I can use L2 and R2 in the menus for toggling between World/EU/National leaderboards without any problems.
Does anyone have any info on this matter?
**I use ps5 controller to play on PC.

l2/r2 are triggers, not buttons
therefore they will not be able to use regular button press actions like switch camera
idk why this worked on ps4 but not on ps5, but that's how it's always been on PC with controllers

Well it worked on a ps4 controller since the release of the game until December '23.

Can anything be done i.e re-mapping of the buttons to make them work?

you might have changed something how your controller works on your end, maybe switched from using ds4windows to using the steam input thing

i run tm2020 through ubisoft connect, and not steam, so i dont think so

id recommend just binding them to the dpad instead

That’s a weird issue. If you’re using DS4Windows you could map a keyboard press to your triggers, so you can bind numpad 1 and 3 for the cam switches. However this will brake the L2/R2 bindings in menus such as switching leaderboards.

nah steams thing works as a separate 3rd party program no matter what game you are playing. It changes controller settings for your entire pc
its basically like a steam branded controller setup program
