I've been trying to play the other enviroments with controller but 5-10 mins after opening the game the screen just freezes, rn I have the game open and it's still stuck after 15 min, I use a PS4 controller, the game refuses to close and won't let me access taskbar (because it keeps going full-screen), the crash has consistently happened 3 times after 5-10 min when it has never happened with kb, and the crash happens specifically when an action goes through (for example pausing or completing a run)

you could try asking in #tmnf-uf as well, or maybe in a TMNF/UF-specific server
most of the people here are primarily playing TM2020, and there's not a lot of troubleshooting overlap

I can put the game in windowed and click the event viewer, I've already done that, I just have to idea where to look for if there are errors

the event viewer records events constantly, no need to keep it open while it happens
either there is smth that is relevant to it or not
just open it after you closed the game or rebooted

Thank y'all for trying to help but I figured out the problem myself by looking through some forums. The game can only handle xbox controllers so I had to configure the controller through steam to make it work without crashing

You gotta use DS4windows and HIDhide
That's the only way to run a PS4 or PS5 pad correctly for any trackmania

in the future just ask for if DS4windows and HIDhide are already in use when you see playstation pad users, would've saved the a lot of hassle
