I just started playing track mania yesterday, and found that when I tried to relaunch it today, it would come up with this error. I've been looking for solutions all day, with no luck. I'm using Ubisoft to launching the game, and my computer is 64bit, with DirectX 12. I don't have an antivirus other than windows defender, I've tried verifying the files, I've tried restarting my computer, and I've tried reinstalling the game. I'm kind of getting desperate here and don't know what to do, any other possible solutions?

If you see warnings about your system preventing Trackmania (2020) from starting (e.g. from Ubisoft Connect or the game itself), your antivirus software (e.g. McAfee, ESET, FSecure or Avast) may be blocking the game from starting correctly.
Try whitelisting Trackmania.exe in your antivirus settings - if you don't know how, you can find instructions for your specific software online.

If you can't find Trackmania.exe in your game's installation directory, it probably got quarantined by your antivirus when you tried to start it. To get it back, verify your game files (see ?verify for instructions).

Using McAfee?

There's been multiple reports of McAfee specifically flagging and quarantining Trackmania as suspicious since August 31st 2023, which leads to the game not starting or updating. You can find instructions for whitelisting the game here.
If that doesn't help, check if the file has been quarantined - you may have to manually remove that.

Nothing pops up on it, and the video i attached was like 30 minutes ago. i didnt do anything since then. if it were to pop up, it would be poping up now

that specific error message only pops up if there's a program in the background doing some very dumb shit like F-Secure Antivirus or any other third party antivirus program that relies on the F-Secure engine
