During my stream a viewer submitted a map that looked fine, but for some reason wouldn't load on a server. I went to check it out in local and it says "Error while retrieving map! Never seen this before and no clue how it can even happen, so would like some fixes if there are any before messaging the map author

your viewer just needs to resave and recalc shadows nd it should be all good

if you edit a campaign map, add custom items, and then save&validate&shadows without ever leaving the editor, this happens

but i thought only that case, where you open a campaign map and havent saved & reloaded was buggy

the explanation you attempt in your clip does sound reasonable
