Fullbright addon?

Heyho everyone, I recently picked up this game again, sadly shadows are broken, making parts of the map pitch black. I know its pretty much impossible to fix graphical issues on the user side, but is there a fullbright addon (for openplanet mayhaps). I think such addon might be useful for recording as well.

full bright would be cheating

on some maps darkness adds to the difficulty

yeah all maps, except on sunrise maps. I am stuck on mac hardware sadly, I am super thankful already that nadeo doesn’t actively try to hinder people using wine/gptk.
