#How to import blocks from tm2 to tm20

You can't unless you convert them
tm2020 was in its early days accepting maniaplanet crystal files but i'm pretty sure that it not supporting it anymore since then hasn't changed
so you would have to find a way to extract the models from tm2 that you want, whichever way you plan to do that, and then make them as your own items via blender and nadeoimporter
How do you convert a block ?
I tried to extract a block from tm2 and then import it to tm20 but I don't know how to do it
explain how you would "extract a block from tm2"
cuz you'll need to either convert files via GBXnet which i'm not sure if it can do that yet for TM2
or ninjaripper
since crystals still aren't cross compatible anymore i think
Even if you can extract a block from tm2, you can't import it to tm2020 as they are not compatible
wat
ofc you gotta extract the actual geometry, just taking the original file won't cut it
I just went with the blocks' option, tried to extract it, it gave me a crystal file but as you say it doesn't work
couldn't we just convert a map with the "nation convertor" and then copy the block we want to create as a macroblock or smth else ?
like i said, crystal files from Maniaplanet aren't compatible anymore since a long time with TM2020
the nations converter, isn't converting anything actually, it's rebuilding the map manually with also the help of remade custom items
a few ways i know of to actually get TM2 meshes into TM2020 are like i said to see if you can extract the geometry from solid.gbx files from Maniaplanet or to use ninjaripper
ye last time i knew of it working was literally in summer 2020 after release
It worked sometime in 2022
