pros do stupid things because other pros do stupid things, a pro doing something doesn't mean it's good, other than control, is there any other reason? I feel like control is something you can compensate for

tawny jolt
#

there's also just the fact that most pros have played on their setups for thousands of hours

tawny sleet
#

also my biggest issue is speed

tawny jolt
#

and they don't feel the change to a hardpad

tawny sleet
#

I am slow asf

#

I feel like

tawny jolt
#

is even worths witching for

#

that doesn't mean you can't play valorant with a hardpad

tawny jolt
#

same applies to things like high sens

tawny sleet
#

also I don't even play tac shooters much at all

tawny jolt
#

and lighter mice

#

etc

undone lynx
#

i mean u can play on anything

#

and make it work

#

doesnt mean its the best thing to use

tawny jolt
#

yeah but

tawny sleet
#

I can play comfortably at 60cm and 15 lol after a bit

tawny jolt
#

a mouse pad surface

undone lynx
#

i think its pretty widely agreed that low sens + control pad is better for a tac fps than like

#

27cm skypad

#

u just have way more margin

#

for error

tawny jolt
#

isn't something that will affect most people

undone lynx
#

well are we talking about most people or pros

tawny jolt
#

both

tawny sleet
#

I actually practice 60cm a lot for speed

tawny jolt
#

well

#

maybe not pros

undone lynx
#

ok well i mean

tawny jolt
#

but the radiant players that i know

#

just

#

don't care

undone lynx
#

anyone not a pro shouldnt be using shit just cuz its optimal

#

i mean if they dont like it

#

then dont use it

tawny sleet
#

I disagree

undone lynx
#

however a pro might want to use an optimal setup

tawny sleet
#

I want to get very good

undone lynx
#

just bc they need to

tawny sleet
#

optimal setup means optimal training

undone lynx
#

however if that conflicts with what they've been doing good with then

#

might not be worth

#

depends

#

rly

#

hard to just have a black and white answer

tawny sleet
#

sooo

#

like I'm gonna get an artisan eventually I'm sure

#

but like

#

I don't have a bunch of money

#

so I cant just buy 10 mousepads

#

lmao

#

I like my hard pad better than any soft pad I've ever used

#

so I think ima get a skypad for now

#

gonna have to pay for mouse feet tho lol

#

ripperoni

#

also won't be able to use the ceramic feet I just bought for my model o-

shrewd vigil
#

i currently have a skypad XL and id say its one of the best purchases ive made not only do i never need to buy a new mousepad bc of the durability it is super fast (obviously)

#

id say the hardest thing to get used to was how shaky my aim was at times due to how fast the pad was

#

took a coupe weeks to a month playing and aim training and it was like playing on any other mousepad again

#

also id recommend PTFE for your mousefeet... ive tried a bunch and those have given the best result

lost shell
#

whats a good mousepad for around like 33 cm in a tac fps

#

been using a slower mousepad but it feels like more control but not able to make micro adjustments as well

#

wtf is this channel btw?

subtle tangle
#

if you use fast sens you need a faster mousepad

#

or you could just not be on 33cm

lost shell
#

hien mid or soft?

subtle tangle
#

soft

lost shell
#

how abt ac+ white?

subtle tangle
#

thats goo d too

lost shell
#

thanks char

#

ok back on the hien and im fucking beaming

#

idk why i ever switched off it

subtle tangle
#

That's great

lone kiln
#

in short, are hard or soft pads better for tacfps

jade widget
#

soft pads generally, you want more stopping power and soft pads provide that
