This isn’t a micro problem

#

You need to put more effort into preparing your flicks

#

The flick angle misses sometimes and the flick distance is too far

#

This forces you to have to make heroic micros constantly

#

Instead you should focus on flicks first

#

So your micros don’t have to work hard

#

A recent run of mine I did with a student

#

Pay attention to 2 things

#
  1. My micros never randomly take forever to do because I’m recovering from a hard flick landing g
#
  1. In general my micros occur in the same direction as the flick and not sideways or backwards
#

I’m aiming to put the crosshair just at the closest edge when I flick

#

Then my micro just completes the movement

#

Consistently performing a very small, controlled micro causes all the peripheral dots to shift slightly which make it highly readable

#

I haven’t actually given you anything to fix this yet, I’m just helping you see where you can improve
