#pgti sucks

gaining smoothness helps
how
by playing something with a larger target and slower bot speed
for some reason b180 tracking scenarios helped me with things like pgti and popcorn
once u have better smoothness this task will feel easier also things like suavetrack or other smoothness scenarios like smoothsphere would help with the speed matching once ur on the bot
i did increase like +300
getting that arc motion down
predict less at top of arc; don't imagine trying to follow an arc since your guess makes you go off-target like the majority of players. If you follow, it may feel worse but it's actually better 'cuz you are actually aware of whether you're on-target or not.
Track the bot all the way down.
look at a singular point on bot, peripheral vision to look at anything else, including crosshair. Helps with speedmatching. When bot bounces, look where it will bounce to to "catch" it with your eyes, otherwise it will seem to disappear upon bouncing.
urgency to get crosshair to the target can be much, much higher when bot is not about to bounce, or right after bounce.
all the way down?
but it’ll be hard to flick up
hm i’ll try later tho
it's only hard if you mess up using your eyes. The part where you have to catch up requires the most concentration out of the whole scenario, so you're right about "hard" in that sense.
If you can't catch up right, play some speedmatching scenarios like "VT Air V2" scenarios, then smoothsphere to know commitment to accel/decel
my eyes yeah probably
i need to fix my eyes of
or get 500hz oled
u can play this scenario with 100Hz monitor
@untold pelicanpb
its the bouncing up part
what i struggle with
let me send it now
@ornate osprey
maybe isolate the skill of just up and down vertical tracking
where
in lke a vertical tracking specific task such as vertical smoothness training popcorn small, spam easy versions of b180 tracking, and play like suavetrack,smoothsphere, and centering IIII for speed matching
fuck popcorn
I might wanna personally guide u here; it's a little complicated. DM me to schedule a time!
i’m free all day
i can screenshare
I'm busy today till next wednesday-ish 😭
oh
okay how about in the next few days?
work on vertical smoothness, when you track vertically you end up veering off horizontally as well losing a lot of points.
as for the bounce, do your best to read the momentum and understand how it will bounce, and also you can use the bounce as a point to reset your mouse when needed as it’s the time the bot is least viable to hit
you’re also doing a lot of flicking motions and jeering, in this scenario you should never be flicking or using a lot of tension
u got dis king
how
sure
one good option is the tsk smoothness benchmarks that have an entire vertical section
aight
where is the things where
u train specific movements
