Discussion where this started: #advice message

I feel so lost, like I'm tracking a full second behind, so it's going left while I'm still trying to react to it going right, and playing the scenarios doesn't seem to have any improvement

I'm definitely not ready for the next one. When it gets like 6+ direction changes very quickly, I get so overwhelmed I just flail back and forth hoping I guess right

How do I get better at processing that volume of information?

Slow it down to 50% speed

#

You can absolutely do it

#

Once you get the hang of the ‘adjustment’ you’ll crush it

#

Funnily enough I’m working on this scenario with a student today too

#

Here’s a clip of us working on the easy version

#

Close long strafes invincible easy

#

Focus points;

  • force your arm to be constantly involved during tracks
  • small and responsive wrist adjustments during changes in direction are okay
  • don’t guess when the bot changes direction
#
  • visualize passing cars in traffic with a gas pedal, NOT jerky and twitchy wrist movements

No this is the ‘easy’

Oh alr...

Which is also fine to learn on

#

CLSI might be challenging at first to absolute beginners

#

No shame in the easy one first

#

Once it makes sense you can transition to CLSI

Just asking bcs I got 13k first try on the normal one and I am just wondering is that good and how to improve

It’s like doing warm up reps in the gym with an empty bar before your bench press

#

Easy, straightforward scenario that gets the blood pumping

#

And lets you warm up technique before the weight gets heavy

#

It remains useful for all skill levels indefinitely

#

Continue to enjoy CLSI as a warm up on tracking days indefinitely

#

It’s quite possibly the best scenario ever for mouse control

Yall like "holy aimers" have different days for flicking, tracking, micro adjustment/flick etc.?

Intermediate players benefit a lot from the structure though

Alr. Could you check and do little advice on my vodreview? I'll tag u

and i dont know why but to me i think i suck at flicks but it s precise ly the thing i got the highest score? How

I like to play scenarios until I hit a meaningful plateau

#

And then I vod review

#

It’s worked for me so far

#

The process can be that simple

#

Works basically indefinitely

Everyone has initial strengths and weaknesses

#

You should just try to improve no matter whether it’s a strength or weakness
