well change something up like sensitivity see if your maximizing your physical abilities hydration posture take a look at your setup and decide if it suits you or maybe see if its possible your teammates theirs also the possibility that your mechanics are great but your positioning might not be maximized or game sense regardless i think i and anyone who comes to help needs more information your stats seem great but thats all their is stats maybe put a vod of deathmatch or a ranked games with voice chat

see if your can get all your skills to the same level as your micro adjustment because your precision is really far behind

so there’s a cpl things i want to point out.

i played val for a while n had this exact same thought.

but it’s important to understand, you can’t see your aim training skills traditionally translate into valorant.

valorant isn’t an “aiming game@ it’s about crosshair placement, utility usage, timing on peeks, timing in general, map knowledge, game sense and ultimately mechanics.

if you feel as though you’ve tried everything and nothing is working, i promise you haven’t.

do a deep dive into mechanics and how to peek.

learn every right hand peek angle, learn how to properly tap strafe, learn crosshair placement and timing on peeks.

i promise you’ll rank up if you focus on the actual mechanics of the game instead of aim training.

look at your play time as well. that’s not NEARLY enough time to rank up. people rank up when they put in hundreds of hours into the game and improving.

valorant rewards time spent and mechanics, not just playing with no direction or playing little here and there

tldr: focus on mechanics, how to actually play the game, make use of off angles, deep dive into 2 or 3 agents ur comf with, actually try during games to apply yourself and the mechanics you’ve learned.

you WILL rank up. but understand you can’t just aim train to be better at valorant. the game is unfortunately more complex than that and also simple at the same time lol

you got this for sure, you have dedication. just needs a bit of guidance to the proper direction and you’ll succeed nws.

this is something simple to start off with.

you CAN also take a look at haeyodays educational mechanic videos. but i will say

please do not try to adopt his aiming style, play style or how he takes his fights.

it works for him because he is good and hes worked on his mechanics to the point where he can almost out duel everyone.

its important to develop your own identity and playstyle and not adopt anyone elses. if you perfect your own individual playstyle, yuo will be able to master it and b unique within the game. whjich is what haeyoday also did, so did prime yay.

use this doc to your advantage and try your best to apply it.

in terms of MY specific routine based off of this doc,

i would do 5-10 dms a day.

firsst 5 would be a warm up before ranked if i decided to play ranked that day (ghost, deagle, guardian, vandal, vandal)

if not, then i would complete the full 10 dms which after are another 5 vandal dms. then my next step in the routine is i go into the range, do 100 bots, then i would lock sage.

i would put the wall in the middle where you shoot start, that way i could practice my crocuh peek 1 taps against the wall.

that was my routine to work on my mechanics persoanlly and i saw massive improvement.

its important to note that when you do deathmatch, please have a goal in mind.

dont just death match with no goal and come here adn go, why am i not improving?

death match and ask yourself "what are my weaknesses?"

maybe its peeking, maybe itss your movement/strafing, maybe its ur bursts, your taps, etc

go into a death match looking to improve on a weakness, not just to play and get kills and win.

apply yourself, you got this. you'll see improvement in no time.

remember progress isnt linear. failure and losses are apart of progress and results

do not let ranks or scores define you, they are just fancy colors, shapes and numbers. lock in. you got this!!

# gusty rock dm: https://medal.tv/games/valorant/clips/lZfh107fMn-x2MfN8?invite=cr-MSxQMzQsND...

with your dm, i only watched a minute (30 secs)

i believe you need to work on standing sstill and holding and also slicing the pie in customs and understanding head level.

if you pay close attention to the map designs, you can see there R certain things on the map that indicate head level.

if you level your crosshair with that, you will succeed.

i also believe your movement is not the best. you sdhould focus solely on A D with single TAPS no bursts.

if you look closesly ast the document i sent you, it states that tap strafing is better than burst strafing.

you will succeed, but you need to grind dms and the range to better your mechanics first.

you got it, nws!!

do you think I should change my sensitivity? I feel like my forearms tense up a lot when I’m aiming in general and when turning around in valorant. In Aim Lab, it takes me a while to get my crosshair onto the target -- same thing in valorant.

#

i think u can see this in the aimlab exercise videos idk

# gusty rock do you think I should change my sensitivity? I feel like my forearms tense up a ...

So in terms of sensitivity its preference.

i cant know. only you know. if you feel as though upping yuor sens can aid you in valorant and aim training, test it out. see where it takes you.

if not, id suggest leaving it alone adn seeing what else you can do to improve.

i personally never messed with my sens and i was able to achieve great scores and a high rank.

i only now mess with my sens because ive exxperiemented with so amny differnet sensitivities that i am now able to play on multiple, especialyl because i play many different fps games that call for different sensitivities.

learning tension management is also extremely important in aiming. viscose has a video on that if you'd like to check that out yourself.

i also watched the first two duels of your tap strafe and noticed an immediate difference.

i wanna say, the more you practice, the better you'll be.

talent can get you places, but hard work and practice is what makes the greats.

just remember to watch how high elo players hold angles and implement it into your own gameplay.

whether or not you want to continue to aim train is completely up to you.

my personal opinion is : you dont hjave to aim train to be good at fps games.

aim training can enhance your skill and definitely bring you to a differnet level and help you win engagements

but its not a nnecessity.

the games themselves have tools within them that can aid you in improving your mechanics and aim in genreal within the game.

if you want to continue aim trainimg, go for it why not. if its a personal goal adn something you enjoy doing, do it.

but if you're doing it for the sake of you want to be better at a game, thats not how it works.

you have to PLAY THE GAME to be better at said game you cant just aim train and hope all of your problems go away.

aim train with a purpose in mind. play the game with a purpose in mind. dm, rank or wtv u decide to do with ur time with a purpose in mind. apply yourself and you will do great things!

you got thiss, i believe in you!

You’re on a 63% winrate with really good stats. You just need to play more and you’ll easily climb.
