I've been training TS since i got my master complete
Got GM score on clicking and tracking with barely time training, and almost everyday on Switching but no improve
can't even hit anywhere near my own highscore i got like a month ago. Literally training in the wrong direction.

Need help so bad,
Speed, First flick accuracy, Stability, Micro, can't find the downside cause everything seems like a downside.

playing with 103fov 60cm this run
trained with 20/25/30/40/45/60/80/120cm

# peak hatch Is it more about my flick direction or I under/over flick too much?

This is switching so you want to have stability. This isn't the same scenario but you want to recreate the same style (progressively get faster at it obviously) as this guy called smoke. He has a dotts nova run on twitter that's extremely smooth and clean. Try to mimic his style. Also play regen dotts stuff if you want to learn tech.

Yeah flick direction is more important than under or over flicking

When I practice switching there's two things I try to stress. Flick direction and stability. So try to heavily emphasise landing on the target with no wobbles (regen is good for this shit).

#

thanks man. I'll try to figure this out.

peak hatch
#

now there is another point: how do i progressively get faster and get better first flick accuracy
I could definitely kill the wobble but i couldn't do fast flick.
Or even if I did get fast flick and no wobble after landing, then my flick accuracy goes worse.
It's like I could only choose two between fast flick/stability/flick accuracy.
In this case I think I should emphasise flick speed and stability more? Is there any way to improve my flick accuracy?

Maybe you're using the wrong muscles. When I get shaky during scenarios I try to understand the tension required to play and how that tension should be dispersed. It's scenario and grip specific so I can't help about that but try to experiment.

Anyone can flick fast but it's how accurate those flicks are that determines the speed

#

At the end of the day if your tech is getting better your ttk (speed) will get better as a result.

# zealous comet At the end of the day if your tech is getting better your ttk (speed) will get b...

This is super important thank you so much.
From what I understand, ppl talk about speed in static often refers to flick speed but in TS, speed its about ttk, about pacing and reduce all the minor waste of time. (And speed pacing is always more important since we weren't intermediate player anymore.)

I guess I'll continue do some experiment, get better understanding on this.

Appreciate you. This helps alot. 🥺🥺

but wait i think my regen score, evasive score, smaller version score have all get better and are good enough but why do I still get no improve in benchmark...
I definitely miss something.

#

hitting PB in various scenario but not on benchmark
how is that happening

pastel storm
#

maybe the scen you played wasnt target your weakness enough

peak hatch
pastel storm
#

yeah i experience the same thing

peak hatch
#

how do you find your weakness though
like, i couldn't, so i tried everything and post my vod and view others vods
but still couldn't

pastel storm
#

for me i just comparing my vods to other player

#

and find whats the difference

#

slow the vods down to 0.5 help you to see things better

peak hatch
#

but its weird i still couldn't
all i know is they flick more accurate and faster than me
but you can't actually train that right?

pastel storm
#

you can

#

but it takes time

peak hatch
#

wait...

#

is there specific scne that benefit flick accuracy

pastel storm
#

idk if al have it or not but its something like wide wall pokeball

#

or anything that far from each other and small

#

but really anything that force you to flick would improve your flicks

#

in the end it just how you approach it

peak hatch
#

yes ill find something like that and do it tomorrow
that might be it

#

thank you so much

pastel storm
#

i think gooner guy told you all the things you need to work on

#

im suck at explaining stuff so the thing i could say is try to understand what is that guy trying to explains to you

#

he got ball knowledge

peak hatch
#

and I might really miss the point since I focus too much on separate abilities but didn't actually try to get them combined.

peak hatch
#

wait

#

no way haha
