#val strafing enemies

what i noticed is they track the enemy while strafing, instead of just strafing and shooting. I could be completely wrong so dont take my word for granted
Shoot the body, no one cares about headshots if you're hitting headshots but it takes you a whole minute
im trying to do that lmao
it’s terribly hard to do, as im strafing too
that's true, I think reactive tracking scenarios will help u
pro players are fast enough that they no longer have to worry about the secondary strafes
the faster you aim, the less complexity there is in your opponents movement. same goes for control: more control = easier aiming.
Can you elaborate a bit on the second point? Thanks!
not really much to say.
if you have a bot that is strafing, you can either aim fast enough to hit the strafe timing, or you cannot.
Imagine playing something like, idk, pasu revosect s5. if you can hit the strafetiming consistently, the task changes in character to becoming a linear scenario rather than a xy-dynamic one.
Thanks for elaborating. That’s a really neat frame of view I haven’t heard or considered before! Did you think that up yourself?
pretty sure it is a common thing that people know, not sure how many talk about it.
I think I came up with my conception of it myself, but that does not mean that other people before me have not though about it (as it is a rather obvious thing when you think about reading)
Yeah, I’ve always recognized that I’ve had more success in those ADAD valorant strafe duels when moving my crosshair a bit faster, but could never really put my finger on why. Your explanation on the strafe timing window makes a lot of sense
high elo players have better target reading simply from more in-game hours, ofc there's more to it but good target reading means you can predict the enemies movement even mid-fight

what scenarios do yall recommend for al
