#VT DotTS Intermediate S5 What should I fix?

i am lower in rank, but from VOD I think of two things
1 - maybe try to push for faster flicks. this pace is very consistent and accurate, so the only thing you can improve is speed
2 - pathing is sometimes not optimal, i think you need to focus on selecting next target to make path as connected and one-directional as possible so that you don't have to go back-and-forth
Your pathing can be improved, you dont proactively choose to flick to the closest targets and rather choose to flick across the screen to a farther away target. I would also say some of the tension managment can use some work. Sometimes you spike your tension and it affects your ability to adjust the flick to land on target
Your run looks too comfortable
Tbh your pathing isn’t as bad as other people are saying but you tend to trap yourself in the corners, try to plan out a path that’s at least 2 bots into the future and always end up in the middle and never in the edges of the map
Going to the closest bot is not always optimal
But for this you def need to work on pushing pace, play dotts novice and flick faster then try going back to int and play with that same pace
Your gliding instead of flicking so you lose a lot of time in between bots
Also when you miss a bot it takes you a while to realize ur off and adjust back to the bot
Your micro adjustment should be instant and someone else watching shouldn’t be able to distinguish between your flick and micros
Thank you so much for helping me.
Yes, this has been my problem for a long time. I also do this in static, and I’ve been trying to fix it for a long time
It’s mostly a tension issue. Not properly releasing tension by time you end the flick will do this
@vague meadow @harsh jay @paper gorge Thanks you so much everyone for helping me. I finally got my Master score!
Ayyy congratulations
