Don't compare your progress rates to others, aim training is for everyone, as long as you are able to see and move your hand and arm you can improve, sounds like you either need to review your vods so you can pick up on aiming mistakes or correct bad habits/improper technique and research aim theory to better understand how to train effectively
thanks for the advice. I’m really not asking about the number of hours to compare myself as better or worse than anyone, but I am interested in knowing what’s considered a normal number. Because if, on average, most people need around 200 hours to reach Platinum Complete (just as an example), and I’m at 400 without getting there, then something is definitely not optimal in how I’m doing things
Regarding VODs, it does feel a bit strange to me because I watch a lot from other people and compare them to mine, and the only thing I’m able to interpret, for example in Static, is: “OK, they do it faster than I do.” But I can’t figure out why, what is keeping me from doing it faster mechanically if the technique is correct
Vodreviewing can be kind of tough when you don’t know what to look for. I’d recommend recording your own gameplay and posting it in #1153030249198669884 for scenarios you’re really stuck on. As for additional resources, videos by Viscose or MattyOW can be helpful to get a deeper understanding of technique. You could always look at others vodreviews or ask in the #advice channel. There is a form guideline by coach Ben floating around in pdf form but not at my pc rn to link it
Could be overall fluidity, how well you can release tension over the course of your flicks, speed of your overall flicks, their micros might be better or general pacing which is improved by the things I mentioned
How can i see it
thanks a million
ur just of average talent
Forgot to send this last night. These guidelines should help you with some more direction on how to approach scenarios
