Hi guys. I'm new to (proper) aim training and I need your advice
But first, some background
I've been playing shooter games for ~15 years, my main games were CS:GO (~2016-2018), Overwatch (2018-2020) and Fortnite (2020-now), in each game I have ~1000-1500 hrs
Right now I'm playing only Fortnite, just for fun cuz I have a very bad GPU (GTX 1050 2GB + 75Hz 1080p monitor) so I can't play all the games I want, but I'm looking forward to buying a decent GPU and playing Apex Legends, The Finals, ARC Raiders, HUNGER, Beautiful Light, and Deadlock (I know some of those games aren't aim heavy and not released yet, but nonetheless)
I bought KovaaK's in Feb 2019 and played ~210 hrs, mainly old scenarios like Tile Frenzy, Ascended Tracking etc.
I just played whenever I felt like it with no actual goal and without any consistency, I could play for 7-10 days in a row max. But usually I played for 1 week every 3-4 months if I remember right.
Recently after a few recommended vids on YT I decided to give it a proper try and actually get better, so I've tried VT S5 Kovaak's benchmarks (Novice first) and I got Gold Complete without big issues (some scenarios were difficult but with enough tries I got them). But after I tried Intermediate benchmark I realized how trash I am lmao, Plat feels waaay out of reach.
Btw novice playlist I completed with 32cm sens, for Intermediate I switched to 37 cm. Btw for tracking scenarios I'm not changing sens, it feels wrong cuz in games I wouldn't be able to constantly change my sens.
I've been trying for 6 days to get Plat but I think playing whole benchmark over and over again isn't helping. I made a Google spreadsheet to track progress but I think Im doing it wrong.
How should I train, one type of aim for a day or should I do a little bit of everything? Which scenarios should I play, weakness specific routines or maybe you can recommend something else?
Pls give me all your advice ladies and gentlemen, it will be massively appreciated. THX!
