#Inconsistent with mouse grips. Sometimes my hand falls to the pinky side when too relaxed

You need to put lateral tension in the mouse which means putting tension on the mouse only with the thumb, ringer and pinky finger and also the tension applied should be firm and not too high and also not too low because if you hold the mouse with too little tension, the mouse wouldn't be able to sync with how you want to move the mouse
Ok so this is how i hold the mouse, i will try to put pressure on those 3 fingers and see what will happen
I see that you are holding the mouse with awkward finger placement. Do you mind if i ask what grip that is?
Do you use claw or palm grip?
I mean it kinda looks like a palm grip and claw grip hybrid. Rn im trying to fully relax my hand without any tense so that i can be consistent with my micros.
(I used claw grip in the past, i dont know what grip it 100% is)
Ok first of all i suggest using claw grip, and i feel like your having a misconception, your relaxinf your hand do the point your hand is completely laying flat on your mouse, you should try to atleast keep it tense enough to keep your fingers in claw position (and also keep your hand straight)
It kinda looks like your hand is slumping to one side
My hand is really straight with shoulders not being tense. But the hand wants to fall to one side cuz it feels comfortable. How can i make it a claw grip so that it isnt palm grip?
Yes claw grip offers best benefits out of all tho
Claw is basically like having only the last joint of fingers on the mouse and the base of palm touching the mouse from back.
The index and middle finger can be straight tho
Your ring pinky and thumb placement is all subjective, it really doesent matter so whatevers most comfortable but when you slump to one side your index and middle falls too
In claw grip they should be completely paralell to the mouse buttons, just fix that tiny issue and your good to go
The palm is on the mouse but the wrist also stays on the mousepad so that i can do wrist flicks
Thats right, nothings wrong with your hand placement except your main 2 fingers
Like the tips of the fingers only
Yes it also offers stability and you should always be in contact with mousepad with wrist but not pushing hard with it
Ok, so in summary i should tense 3 of my fingers a little and not let my hand be too relaxed?
Tense 2* of your fingers (index and middle) and thats all yeah
what about anchor point tho can the anchor point be right side on wrist
Also this is how i hold now
Whatevers best for you, mid is recommended since its more comfortable
is this normal that im doing worse in tracking? like smoothbots that go really far, since my range kinda worsened
Your range shouldnt change... But even if it did use the wrist grip that provides the most accuracy because precision>range
Try to change sensitivities if need be
my wrist also tried to go off from the mousepad when i use energy on my fingers, even on my pinky. i dont know if my wrist should be on mouse, mousepad or both
holy moly, thanks to both of you, i found the feeling
Wrist should be on your mousepad
Limited experience here, but I was having the same issue until recently and it was because of my shoulders that naturally slump and roll forward due to muscle imbalances. When shoulders are rolled forward, they can naturally rotate your whole arm outwards. See if rolling your shoulders back a bit and bringing your arm closer into your side helps with fatigue in your new position, you should feel tension in your back mostly.
This might also help if you have trouble flicking downwards.
