Speed is my main blocker for static and TS. I tend to use my wrist for flicks. It is just a bad habit which I cant get rid of. I run static on 60 cm. My arm flicks are underdeveloped so subconsciously I start using wrist mid scenario. My wrist flicks are fast and precise whereas my arm flicks are slow and often inaccurate.

the way i stopped flicking with my wrist as much is to do what coach ben said and turn your sens down to like 80-90 cm
this way youre basically forced to use your arm
Do you come back to your original sens when you benchmark ?
I have tried lowering my sens in the past. I tend to overflick then alot when I come back to my original sens and I have low stopping power. I am on cloth mousepad with g pro superlight!
i use 60-75 cm for benchmark
and i practice in static on 80-90
using the wrist isn't necessarily bad
but you don't want to arrive at a dot with an extended wrist
just isn't a strong position to micro out of when it comes to stability
the arm should be doing most of the work for flicks
the wrist and fingers should be fairly neutral until they arrive so they have a good RoM to micro in
some cluster work can be effectively traversed by wrist usage
@shadow silo I have been practicing on different sensitives to break my PB in static. Even on low sensitivities ( 90-100 cm ) my micro corrections are wobbly and I have this bad habit that my crosshair kind of does a dance after the initial flick. Maybe it is to compensate for my underdeveloped micro corrections cause it looks like I tremble in panic and just hope that I land the micro correction.
Yes
Sounds like you’re using tension to stop flicks
Ok. How do I fix the same? I am also on a new cloth mousepad so stopping power is less rn as wear and tear is minimal.
Pad rly not an issue
If you need more friction then add surface area
Fingers, palms, fore arm
@shadow silo Any tips on releasing tension mid run ? This is what I have observed as the run progresses the tension in my arm keeps on increasing and my micros become more shaky and wobbly. Also I can feel tension getting accumulated in this part of arm.
Practice on very slow sens and long flicks
1w2ts vertical small
1w2ts horizontal small
Play 80cm and focus on fast flicks directly to targets and a distinct release of flick tension as you travel to the dot
@shadow silo Hi with your advice and a lot of practice , I was able to hit diamond complete. Can't thank you enough.
Jade is next let's go
@shadow silo Can you explain this statement more ? #advice message
I am unable to release tension mid flick.
you're definitely able to
