one of the clips
i cant do smooth tracking like whatsoever
im not sure if its tension management only, or if its the fact that i dont have a sleeve, or both, or that i suck at tracking overall but i definitely would love to know and hopefully someone could help me make that go away
๐
what cm?
gotcha
help plz ๐
yeah, you are using too much tension
how can i fix that
you can tell by the fact that you are pulling ahead of the target consistently
the solution is too... use less tension
you untense your arm
yo wth
it actually instantly helped
but now i kinda like use too little and too much sometimes
nice
yep. it is a balancing act
yo also, do u use an arm sleeve or nah
and do u think its a good thing to have one or no
yes, but I am on a glasspad, so it is more nescessary for me
ohh
I would say it is a worthwhile investment in either case, but more important on glass
i mean do u think the mousepad matters too or nah
in choosing an arm sleeve and just overall choosing to buy one or not
cus i have a cloth pad
obviously
dream pad xxl
idk if i should get it
cus i can only get the like skin tension on my wrist i guess
sometimes
and my forearm i guess
thats like literally most of the skin tension but i dont think it even matters?
not really sure what the question is here:
does it tangibly change technique? yes.
does it mean that you are going to be capped? obsolutely not
like the mousepad itself, like it being a clothpad and maybe a specific one
thats what i meant by that question
the thing with a sleeve is that it is more consistent and makes you more immune to things like temperature changes and sweat
sorry for the confusing question ๐ญ
wait, let me reread what you wrote
i mean i barely get any sweat on my arm
only wrist and fingers barely like once in ages
its cold in my country
fair
alright ill consider buying one then
if it makes my aim more consistent then why not
right
ill prob ask for advice in the advice channel later
thanks a lot for the help, even though it was something i kinda already knew just wasnt sure if it was just tension or something else too
!!!
np
Balancing tension is a really difficult matter, I have the same issue on snake track but consciously trying to keep the same tension across the entire scenario helped a bit
yeah ill try improving on that sooner or later
not pushing the mouse
too much trying to fix speed matching issues with the wrist instead of just speedmatching better
for very raw smoothness tasks, you only want to really change your position by adjusting your overall speed, like the accelerator in a car
if you constantly are fixing bad speed matching with the wrist, you just draw shitty lines
worry less about being more smooth
be smooth all the time
score more by being on target more
be okay with missing points because your speed was wrong
be smooth always
let the better speed matching be how you show improvement
how do you speedmatch better
Practice ๐
yeah.. but any tips?
only tip i have is to turn hp bars to 2 and uncheck 'only show when damaged'
Any common mistakes that can be easily avoided?
