Non team FPS games?

I wanna find some competitive FPS games that are 1v1, I don’t enjoy team games much and the only solo fps I can find are battle royale solos

so theres this game on roblox called Rivals and its fun you can choose 1v1 2v2 3v3 and so on and i find it enjoyable

if ur looking for strictly competitive games arena shooters are pretty much the only competitive 1v1 fps games, unfortunately they're mostly all dead. but you can always try getting some pickups in their respective community discords. Quake Live or Quake Champions are most likely the two you'll have the best shots at finding games with.

i'd say Quake Live assuming you're looking for competitive 1v1 Duel matches (i think they've been hosting some pretty high profile matches featuring some old time legends like Cypher and Rapha lately), personally would not recommend Quake Champions for a variety of reasons i wont get into here.

Aside from that, there's also Quake 3 CPMA mod (faster movement, different item/weapon balance) wich is my preferred version of quake for duels, as well as its more modernized version : Reflex Arena (wich is where i personally play)

regardless of wich version you chose to play, the one thing i'll say is dont get discouraged if you get thoroughly bent over by experienced players, these games can snowball out of control very quickly and it can be very difficult to mount a comeback against strong players.

even between two very good players, scorelines reading 40 to 3 by the end of the match are not unheard of.
