#Aiming issues??

If I were to guess it would be that your wrist doesn't really have enough support try changing desk or chair height + maybe putting a little downward pressure with your wrist into your pad for stability
okayy thank you!
Nw! I had that issue but when going to the right and doing what I said helped me personally so lmk if it helps!
I feel like im fighting my table when aiming lolol
Hmm might want to look into a more optimal desk or chair height kovaaks has a good informative video on youtube that explains it well called ''The optimal chair & desk height for aiming''
okay, thank you!! im in my process to check out the video, I tested what you said, and I still find the same problem, instead of my arm skin ''gliding'' through the mousepad it sticks and it rubs against it especially to the left, I can aim to the right w/o any problem. im going to check out the video and hopefully find a solution.
Well, I kinda didn't understand what the video tried explained, like I get it but im still getting the same issue, I tried the ''neutral'' pose in one of my favorite tasks, and yea it felt faster but I got lower scores.. I think I'll try to understand the video a bit more.
What mouse and what mouse grip do you use?
I use relaxed claw, since palm grip is uncomfy for me. I used to rock finger tip grip but I ended up switching cuz I realized It wasn't my grip. Now, my mouse is a random one I picked up from my local store, my old one broke and needed a replacement quick. im trying to get a new one though. I'll send a picture. (its name is MS961 gaming mouse from haxvit) lmao
Im tryna switch to a better mouse, a friend recomended me the op1 8k, but im skeptical about it since my hand is quite big and mouse seems to be quite small.
The essence of the video was essentially you want to be able to use shoulder arm and pretty much every muscle group with ease while not having your arm have to be pressed downwards for stability and not to have to lift your arm to put to prevent strain
op1 8k is pretty solid from what I've heard
yeah, I want to order it this week. hopefully.
Well, my problem kinda still stands, but, its fixed, (kinda) a 50 50 maybe. Because after watching the video I can still aim like usual, ofc, but my arm skin still rubs against the mousepad, and I have it in the neutral position. I don't know what could it be honestly
So is the issue a lack of support for your arm cause you said your arm was shaky correct? when going to the left specifically? and is it when wrist aiming or arm aiming?
Yea, it rubs against my mousepad, only to the left not to the right. it slows down a bit my aiming when im tracking
So its your mousepad having friction with your arm when going to the left?
Yeah
Maybe it's the fibers interacting weirdly when going to the left have u tried rotating the mousepad or using sleeves?
haven't tried sleeves, but ima try rotating the mousepad right now
its a bit better, just a bit better. Like I can tell the difference but the problem is still there
Which part of your arms is shaky when going to the left? wrist? tricep? etc
The elbow
Is your elblow floating in the air or supported by an armrest or desk feel free to edit your message in reply to go around the slowmode
welp, before this it was sitting in the desk, if I leave it in the air it feels extremely uncomfortable which affects my aim. I removed the armrests of my gaming chair since they're stationary. they can't be moved so I decided to remove them. it also made my chair go against my desk if you get what i mean.
Yeah I play with no chair armrests too and have my desk support my elbow
Yeah, so I don't know why my elbow goes against my desk. I don't know the exact feeling either of how it should feel. but I just want it to glide smoothly with no problem
This would be how my hand rests and aims at my desk have it pretty far forwards into the desk
It should be completely foward?? that feels so uncomfy to me..
I like playing with my stomach in contact with my desk and for that to happen the arm needs to be somewhat like that
mmmm yeah makes sense
It also ensures that the arm is supported by something no matter how far left or right I am I can use the right side and left side of my pad very easily in situations where the middle has gotten sweaty from the heat or long use
mmm.. should I try it?
No harm in trying something new if it doesn't fit you then at least you know now that it doesn't nothing to lose I play on a Edpi of 3360 because I play faster paced games so maybe try having more space to the top of your pad to ensure you can fully look up in case you need to shoot something after looking up but you won't really ever need more space than what your dpi requires to look up if that makes sense because you can't look further up than straight up
