#I started aim training again and I am having a lot of shoulder pain

Is your chair high enough or do you have to bring your shoulders up
if anything my setup would be too low.
I amde a 90 degree angle with my elbow and then raise my desk to meet it (sit stand desk)
I do mesure my desk with my elbow next to my body but I have been watching some other people and they actually flare their arm to the side some. Is that optimal?
i have a stand desk too and I sit with my desk just a little above bellybutton height. Took me a few iterations to get a good comfortable setup its fs worth messing with until its good
has the pain been happening for a while or has it just started
you don't want your arm perfectly vertical but also not horizontal a rough in between is ideal. Im at maybe a 30-35 degree angle from vertical its all really personal preference really.
I used to play fps games 3 years ago, had this pain, stopped playing and the pain stopped. Recently started again and it is back
okay Ill try that out when I get home! Thank you so much. I always heard "90 90 90 be 90 degrees everywhere)
It's not good to have your arm always pressing down your shoulder. Also when you move your mouse right your elbow goes a little to the left so its best to have a little room to work with. if it doesn't improve try shoulder stretches. Could be a shoulder mobility issue
if its shoulder mobility/weakness and you are not working out then you should start
Any suggestions or resource links on stretches and strength exercises to help the shoulder
well i can dm you a mobility workout that helped me with a shoudler injury/immobility
