#Poor Accuracy on Dynamic Task

I've been aim training for 3 months, and have a little under 150 hours in aimlabs.
Could this poor accuracy be due to not having enough time in dynamic specific scenarios, and having issues reading the target movement?

I have noticed that Dynamic is my worst task in terms of raw accuracy, and it being my lowest score for benchmark(s). I'm not entirely sure why this could be the reasoning, because on most of the weakness scenarios in the intermediate playlist, I'm within the 92-95 percentile of individuals on the scenarios.

While my accuracy is typically hovering around 72-75%. I did watch MattyOW's video on PASU, and how having an accuracy of 80-85% is the ideal range for dealing with dynamic scenarios, as it indicates proper technique + movement reading + good pacing. Thus indicating that my lower accuracy is due to poor pacing, yet I feel that my pacing is fine, due to me being able to achieve such high percentile scores, and I actually struggle more with click-timing, than I do pacing.

I've been given multiple types of advice from other people in the community, to try using a larger crosshair, and mainly slowing down my pace to focus on accuracy more. Though whenever I try to slow my pace down, my accuracy decreases even more down to 65-70% due to the pace feeling extremely slow.

I'm open to any type of advice on how I can improve my accuracy, and what I could possibly look into doing to improve at dynamic as a whole. I do want to mention I have been focusing on overall smoothness versus snappiness whenever it comes to dynamic task, and focusing on good pathing as well. Additionally, should I look into playing the advanced scenarios for dynamic due to my higher percentile scores on the intermediate scores?

Some additional information:

CM/360: 49cm (Depends on task, though typically 49cm)
DPI: 1000
Polling Rate: 8000
Mouse: OP1 8k (Wired)
Mousepad: Artisan Zero Soft (Orange)
Monitor: MSI Optix G27C4 (165hz)

Thank you for taking your time to give me advice, or just to talk with me. <3

I would recommend posting a vod for more indepth guidance.

I have basically the exact same setup besides monitor w/480hz although I did get master 980 on pasu before with 144hz.

I'm more of an "expert" on Pasu than Popcorn so my advice might differ for popcorn.
For Dynamic

  • It really is all about the dance patterns, take one shot adjust for the next kinda of thing. And just going through the motions.
  • keeping track of at least your next target or 2 targets is crucial to cluster and rapidly increase score.
  • Accuracy is not as important, but feeling comfortable and fluid is 10x more valuable. Just take your time and click dots. Don't have to pressure yourself to make shots or go fast. Relax and be fluid.

I have noticed from the bit of micro training, and dynamic weakness training I've been doing has been helping me push for higher scores, while also maintaining a lot more fluidity compared to before.

Though, if I do miss a target once or twice, my accuracy seem to just drop drastically after as I lose my pacing, and have trouble reacquiring the targets. I think one of the biggest things I currently need to work on is just getting more hours in aim training in general, while also training smoothness overall, as sometimes I will get super shaky due to high tension.

Speaking of high tension, I do notice that a majority of the time, before or after I click, there is a spike in tension, which ultimately causes a tad bit of shake on my mouse, and I wonder if that could be another issue to do with my poor accuracy, but also just a poor management of tension when clicking.

Sounds like a tension issue, I also get this issue whenever I go to a lower sens than "allowed".

With tension management is a touchy feely thing, don't apply too much and don't apply too little. You have moments when high tension is needed and moments where no tension is needed (wide flicks high tension, micros no tension)

I am also assuming you are an intermediate player for Dynamic correct me if I'm wrong

One thing I forgot to mention is keeping in the middle for kills. Here is a video of me doing pasu rn and I am a little shaky so I slowed down my kill confirmation till I can read the targets next move.

For tension I was more tense in the beginning then lessened my tension as I continued to play.

Lastly for kill confirmation, focus your eyes on the target more rather than your next target to improve micro accuracy. At least that works for me.

I've been doing the intermediate weakness playlist, though have been debating on switching to advanced, as I am hovering around 95-97 percentile on most task.

Also I watched the video you sent, and we actually seem to do a lot of the same things, the biggest key difference I can notice from your gameplay compared to mine is the overall smoothness, and click-timing.

It seems the biggest things I need to focus on overall is more smoothness / fluidity, and to be more thoughtful before clicking. As I have noticed in my own gameplay that I tend to "spam" I guess is the best way to say it? As I'll typically start off with quite high pace, but then my accuracy will suffer due to a few little issues with micro corrections.

Yeah, I get "spammy" as well. My brain processes faster than my mouse movement can keep up. For that I just focus on the next one and relax my tension so micros become easier.

Click timings is definitely one of my strong points for Pasu. I know when to hold off on kill confirmation. For example ar the 1 minute mark I have a bot go to the right side and I wait until it moves left to kill it instead of rng wall bounce. This can also apply to popcorn, click timing and cluster farming will take you a long way with a good run.
