So recently ive been noticing a problem in my aim that when i do vertical movements ( diagonal ones are fine) i cant flick in a straight line and my crosshair wiggles lefy and right pretty far.

Its not a tension problem because ive tested it with low and high tension and i still wiggle left and right when i flick vertically.

I first saw the problem doing popcorn clicking task on aim labs and its only gotten more noticeable since then

It's not the worst problem if you're talking about flicking. It's something that will correct itself with skill overtime in flicking in general so I wouldn't be too analytical on just that. You can try incorporating some Air or Control tracking scenarios to used to using the muscles to make controlled vertical/diagonal motions and see if you feel more stable and/or more comfortable pushing speed in your other tasks you want to improve on.

Ok i will try that and ur probably right because control and precise tracking are my weakest points but even if i slowly move my mouse and dont flick then it sti happens like no matter how i do it i cant move my mouse up an down with stability.

Regardless i think im going to specifically target those weaknesses because i feel this problem stems from that.

Maybe an issue low confidence in sustained use of your arm vs explosive use. When I experience poor mobility making small motions with little to no momentum behind it, I want to believe its a concentration and confidence issue for me. I'm getting pressured by the situation and I didn't train my arm enough to overcome whatever is making me lock up or be less articulate.
