went slow on the runs cuz I got tired of going too fast and only getting 85% acc, I think my flick technique is decent, should I keep doing my runs like this and eventually getting more speed or is there something I need to change?

I was purposely doing them much much slower to perfect the technique

also this is with my new mousepad sp-004, I still have the old skates so thats why im able to control it better, waiting for my superglide rs, idk if that will mess up my control cuz I heard they are fast

you should get some obsidians as reserves, cause I am quite sure this will be way too fast.

Personally I just use normal obsidians (red).
I do not recommend the obsidian air pros, horrible.

I mean, that depends on how long you are willing to stick on them. They slow down significantly after a few days, but they are workable for like a 1-2 months, give or take.

And after that they become too slow or the skates just wear out?
